A SI re-cones sells for $175, while a used SI D2 sells for $200-250. This effectively sets the value of a blown Mag at only $25-75. Did you find out how much a XXX hybrid re-cone would cost from RE?

I just want to know what size box and how much power I need for the Magnum to hit real low in a sealed box! I want to run my Magnum near full output, so I can use the sub without damaging it. If I don't know it's limits, then the risks of me damaging the sub are only greater. QUESTIONS: 1.) What size of a sealed box does the 12" Magnum (CLAW) need for 0.707 alignment? 2.) How much power is needed to reach full excursion in that box? 3.) Give the above information, how much power should I feed the sub? For example, the 12" Brahma only needs 900W (it's RMS is 1600W) to reach full excursion in a 0.92 cu ft box that provides a 0.707 alignment. Thanks a lot for the help guys!

Question 1) I might be purchasing a used Magnum and wanted information on its Power Handling. Does Stereo Integrity offer such information? Question 2) If I wire only one voice coil and terminate the second coil with a resistor (potentiometer) to vary the driver's Q in a sealed box, how much power can I send to one voice coil?
