We are currently running a $25 rebate on the 1004, 1005, S1000, and D1000 until the end of Feb. and will be starting a $15 rebate on the S680, S925, S975, and S1200 between March 1, and May 31.

Yes, the D3400's are available, and yes the I-Bar accessories are sold seperately and they will now work with all of the XS Power models excluding the 680's. For some models you will need adaptor parts, so please be sure to check before you buy.

Hey Jamie... it's no problem. You will want to use the D3400 with either the 551 or 555 I-BAR kit to give you a high powered direct replacement for your 88 Deville. It will bolt right into the stock tray.

The temps the batts are exposed to in the bed will be no different than under the hood. The warmer the batteries are the better they perform. For example, a battery that is rated at 925CCA (0 degrees) should be able to do around 850CA (32 degrees). You will get the best performance from XS Power AGM batteries right around 80 degrees... any warmer and you dont really benifit that much at all.

The new lithium models were originally designed for drag racing, but since their release we have seen interest from many other areas of racing, including NASCAR, Speedboat racing, and Motorcycle drag racing. The cost and capacity of these products really do not lend themselves well to auidio though. Maybe one of these days we will have a product that is specific for audio.

Swapping used Stinger 680's for new XS Power 680's will make a bit of a differnece, but adding in the D1200 will make a very noticable differnce.
-
Yes, you can purchase directly from SPL Audio in Barrackpore. They can be reached at [email protected]
-
The stinger battery is actually a pretty good battery. You will notice a bit of a difference, but nothing major. The D3400 does have lots of cool accessories available though, and comes with a 3 year warranty.

We will have a Singapore distributor for the XS Power batteries very soon!
-
Unfortunately no. I dont remember which 4 resistors need to be removed???
-
I would go with the D3400 up front and the 2400's or 2700's in the back.
-
Yep... they are all dyno tested for output at hwy speed and idle before shipping. Glad everything got worked out!
-
We should have a 200A model for that... email me at [email protected] with your info and I will see what we have and get you a price.

Batteries: Starting vs Deep Cycle
scottiej replied to buickid's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Hmm, interesting. How much did they results of the tests vary by? This is true, starting batteries are damaged by repeated deep discharges. In theory, with a beefy enough alt, this shouldn't become a problem, the battery acts as a buffer. Perhaps Optima Blue Top type batteries would be ideal, as they are made to dump lots of current, and discharge over a long period of time. Hmm. Only a few tenths between the yellow and blue, the red on the other hand would be significantly behind... well over 1dB. When you guys are comparing starting batts vs deep cycle batts, I assume you are refering to flooded vs. sealed. If this is the case, them most of what you are saying is true, but there are sealed AGM starting batteries that can give both high amp discharge (for starting) and can still be deep cycled. Odyssey, Northstar, and XS Power are good examples... -
It's a company... I'm not sure if they could provide support, but I would be happy to answer any questions they may have. I just need someone in Hawaii to buy them so they can sell to all the people requesting them
