Hey there. I have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition and i have absolutely no bass in my car. I'm leaning towards a downfiring sealed enclosure with two 10" Alpine Type R 1023D. They peak at 1800watts and 600watts RMS. The sealed enclosure provides them with 0.85 cubic feet of air space per sub. What amplifier can really make these subs sound crisp, clean, and provide deep full bass? Hifonics? Kicker? JL audio? Any thoughts on the amp or the set up in general would be greatly appreciated. i have a 2006 bmw 325i (e90) which has the battery in the trunk. i want to know how i can connect my 2 12's and 2 amps to the stock headunit? or would i have to buy a new headunit such as pioneer alpine etc.??? plz if any1 has a BMW and has connected a system to it, let me know how.

well my budget is anything after the amps, box, cables, and subs because i bought them b4 i bought the car lol so in reality, the only thing im missing is the headunit and some batteries if that. the cardboard idea isnt bad at all. i might just do that.

Hey guys, well i am thinkin of buying a 2006 g35 coupe which has 7.8 cubic ft of trunk space and the system i have is 2x12's in a ported box. dimensions are 1.75ft x 2.75ft x 1.42ft = 6.84 cubic ft. i would have a little under a ft of space left over assuming it would fit at all. i also have to somehow fit 2 sundown amps in there as well...is this the stupidest idea ever or should i take a stab at it??????? if it all works i would have 4000watts pumping through the car.

FINALLY GOT THE 2X SAE-1000D SUNDOWN AMPS, 32 HZ BOX WITH THE 2X 12" Fi Q's!!! NOW I JUST NEED HELP WITH WIRING IN THE SENSE OF WHAT SIZE, BRAND, AND STUFF LIKE THAT. 8 GAUGE? 4 GUAGE? 0 GAUGE? IDK THANKS

damn u guys are the best!! so if all this were to go in a 05 chrysler 300 with a 140amp alternator, would i need to upgrade it to a 200+ amp alternator? u think 2k watts rms would put to much on the battery and stuff?

i currently have 2 12" Fi Q's in a monochambered enclosure tuned to 32hz for maximum SQ but no amps from what people have told me (2x) sundown sae-1000d should be perfect but my question is... if both subs run 1000 rms each, would it be better running (2x) 1000 watt amps or (2x) 1500 watt amps??????????? also, which amps would be ideal if money wasnt an issue? preferably brand name and specific model. thanks a MILLION!!! hey guys, im looking for the best headunit for the best price. im looking into either alpine or pioneer. i want gps navigation, touchscreen, dvd player,equalizer, and most importantly...SOUND QUALITY! money isnt the issue but can someone please list specific HU's that consist of these features at the lowest cost??? anything under $800 is fine

i just ordered 2 12" Fi Q's and i've seen specs on how many cubic ft to make the enclosure and stuff like that but i want to know the specs on a ported enclosure for TWO 12" fi Q's!!! i just want the best for my twins and whats up with all this tuning to (x) amount of hertz and s*** like that?? how the f*** do u tune a subwoofer??????? well all i know is that i want my twins to play as hard as possible with the best sound quality and for people to be like WTF DO U HAVE IN UR FU**ing TRUNK MAN!!!??? lol feel me? so i just need 3 questions answered: specs on a ported box for TWO 12's.....whats the ideal hertz to tune the subs to (and how to do that).....and please list the ideal amp to power each sub. that means 2 amps. {preferably replies from audiophiles or Fi car audio themselves} a million thanks!

i just recieved a pair of 12" Fi Q's and i got a problem. i dont know whether to put them in a dual chambered or single chamber ported box? also i need to know what amp to get for them? is it better to get 1000W amp for each or a 2000W amp to power both? im also curious as to whether id need a capacitator and alternator for these bad boys??

yea i feel u but what if money isnt the issue? it would be better buying two 1000w amps in that case right? so whats one of the best brand amps out there? i was looking into the hifonics brutus series
