I picked up two XLs today!! the XL 10 is the only woofer i've seen do 2,000w in a Tline -Drew
-
thank you sir- i will use that wood instead of mdf whenever the money permits -Drew
-
SMD SSA Respek Mobile Audio Club Knowledge Realm TBC Ca Termpro **** but i only post projects on a select few of those Lighter, just as strong, less dust, beautiful! Splinters with cross cuts, is VERY unforgiving (small mistakes are hard to recover from, and get exaggerated when stained) and is more expensive than mdf -Drew

Sonys dont have the mechanical tolerance of nicer woofers- i would suggest 1.5-1.75cuft @38-40hz sub up port back in a jeep. -Drew
-
congrats on the purchase!! DC has always served me well customer service and quality are top notch Dont listen to OD- he is a n00b -Drew

No Autorama in Sacramento Feb 8th - 10th iirc -Drew

something like that! its a nasty driver- some kinks that need to be worked out but they will soon be a monster of a woofer -Drew
-
OD how far would you be willing to drive north for a little kick it? -Drew
-
Build the right box and DO NOT clip it and the woof should be fine :-) -Drew

LOL iirc the BTL is rated 1500 (maybe 2k? i forget) but it can take much, much more. my lvl 4 is rated a 1,000w sub and i gave it 2,800w for the few weeks i had it in. Just because i was laughing so hard from last post- i'll end with this. speaker fails for two reasons thermal or mechanical if your overpowering your driver you can build a box to compensate any woofer will burn with its rated power clipped to hell and over heating With clean signal and the right box you can overpower well built woofers quite a bit. Sorry for being off topic to the OP -Drew

I got 4th in 139.9 after busting out against alpine. But I got to take Bill out in round 1 so that made my day 1-6th place finishers in 139.9 all qualified with a perfect score My scores for the day, 145.0 windows up 145.8 windows down 146.6 drivers down All on music (jeezy, ~40hz) Thanks DC for making a lvl 4 strong enough to hold 2800w rms -Derw
