I agree with forgetting about the sub for now. And as far as components go, I'm not against them. I was just being lazy lol. I've heard good things about Seas, but nothing about Mach 5 Mlis. I'm going to have to look into that. I'm plan on stopping by a few audio shops and checking some of these out if they have them in stock. I'll post what I come up with

I'm looking for a high SQ set up for my next car. I'm not sure what the car will be but it's coming soon. I'm in the idea phase right now. I'm looking for ideas on speakers, preferably coaxial. I'm also looking for a new amp for the speakers. I mean I want to have eargasms every time I get in the car lol. Also, at some point I do want a sub, but like I said I'm focusing on sound quality. I don't want it to overpower the speakers, but compliment them. I really want it to hit the really low notes with enough ease as I don't have to have it up all the way where the higher end of the base spectrum is too powerful. I listen to pretty much everything, including jazz, but mainly rap/ hip hop. I was thinking about a 12in Q, but if there are any other suggestions I'm open to them. I'm gonna have about a 2000 budget too. I really don't want to go over it at 2,000, but if it is necessary, I MIGHT go as high as 2500, but I would hold off on the sub if it came to that. Definitely nothing over. As far as speakers I was thinking somewhere along the lines of Morel Tempos, but if there is anything out there that is noticeably better and not that much more, I'd love to hear suggestions. Or if there is anything that is close to that quality, but cheaper. I'm willing to downgrade slighly

lol that obvious huh? Trust me I plan on doing A LOT of research. I don't spend anything unless I know exactly what I'm getting into. I just want ideas now. I'm not making any decisions for awhile. This is for a future car btw I have Infinity References atm, front and rear. Theyre a little lacking in the bass area

This is for a friend this time, not for me. Anyways, he just bought an autotek SM1-1500 (street machine), pushin 375 rms in 4 channels at 4ohms. Lookin for 6.5s in the front and 6x9s in the back, tryin to spend somehwere around the $200 range for each.

Was drivin around testin out new speakers and was turning up the volume, and when it hit 29/35 everything just shut off. So i figured I blew a fuse. I checked the fuse box numerous times and the fuses are all fine. Took out the HU cuz a buddy said there was a fuse behind it... nothing... I have no clue where to go from this point.

lol, 2nd fuse box under the hood, still a problem tho. Ive blown it 3 times already on accident. (finger slipped haha) is there a way to stop it form happening or do i just have to deal w/it?

just got the two 6x9s in the back and yeah i def agree. The infinitys sound nice, but are lacking bass... hoping to hear more asa i get this thing amped. My budget would be somewhere around 100 to 150 range... At this point I'll probably go with some Planet Audios through ebay

Ok so im pretty much getting brand new everything What I have now... HU: Alpine CDA- 9831 Current Amp: Rockford Fosgate Punch 500S And I got a rf 12" sub in the back. Speakers: factory Car: 1997 Honda Accord SE So far I'm planning on.... (havn't bought any of these yet) Im pretty set on the sub and amp, not so sure about the speakers. Subwoofer: 15" SSD w/ copper wire (i want it sealed, but coudlnt find the specs...) $215 ( I might go with the 12") Amp: AudioQue 1200D $240 Front Speakers: im looking at these http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductCart/pc...mp;idproduct=95 $70 They looked like a good deal, but I just want some feedback because I'm pretty new at this. If you guys disagree and happen to suggest something else, I'd say my budget is somewhere around $150 for the speakers. This is the first sub that I'm going to personally set up and I was just wondering what the major differences are between the SSD 12 and SSD 15... So far I've been told, "Oh, well that's up to your preference." I have no preference yet lol. From what I've seen online, the 15 would be louder and deeper, but would lose some SQ... In FI subs is it that much of a difference? What do MOST people seem to prefer based on personal experience? I listen to rap mainly, but I switch it up every now and then to R&B, jazz, and maybe a little rock here and there. Long story short... is it worth the 20 bucks haha

MOREL TEMPO 5 110watt rms RRP $224 <<< cheapest i can find I'm still open for more thoughts. $200 is a little much at the moment... I'd only pay that if it was REALLY worth it. I wouldn't go over... Not now at least. If someone can give me feedback on the cadence that'd be great.

I'm liking the look of the Morel Tempo 2 ways... Any idea of a price range off the top? Suggested retail prices range from $199.95 to $299.95 answered my own question... looks good, but i may not be able to do it right away... Hertz looks pretty good too, but the price is in Euros lol.
