im runnin out of preout voltage so i decided to buy a line driver, question is, does adding a line driver bypasses the gain of the amp? turning the gain all the way down wouldnt affect the line driver's settings?
-
if your amplifier has 6v input sensitivity (gain), are there chances of damaging it if i'll use a line driver with 8V
-
while the saz3000 says 6v-0.2v for the gain, does addin a line driver which puts out 9v is not safe?
-
hope this helps http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=20736 cool. thanks. another thing. if my line driver puts out 9v, should i turn the amp's gain all the way down at 6v? im past 3v for the signal and i'll be careful wit the volume knob.

Switched my old Pioneer with 6v preout and heard a big difference. No noise and lower gain.

Ive experienced this problem after swtiching to a new pioneer headunit. My old one has 6v preout non clipping, but had mechanical problems. So I bought a low mid level pioneer to save some cash.

Hiss sound at low volumes.

i think i'll be needing one because i cant play at high gains. but when my gain is low, its not loud, where its driven at 200watts though. running at high gains makes a lot of noise.

my headunit is pioneer with 2v preout. should I turn the line driver all the way up? and then match with the amp's gain knob?

is this the right configuration to achieve a 1 ohm load?
-
sax100.2 says 200 x 2 watts @ 2 ohms if i'll connect a 2ohm woofer at one channel, output will be 200watts in that particular channel right?

its moved, sorry mods. back to topic. if it's internally bridged, this will be more simple. and the amp will see a 1 ohm load? -
Anyone wants to donate some blueprint of boxes that could fit here sub is 9515 w/ strapped saz1500 amp Length - 31.5 inches Height - 18 inches Depth - 22 inches These measurements are the space left to be exact, no box yet. Assuming 1inch MDF will be used and I'm eyeing for 4.5cu.ft. or 5cubes plus port tuned to 40-42hz. Sub is facing up and port is facing the rear hatch door. With the given depth, there's a 4inch gap remaining before the box/port would hit the rear hatch. Id appreciate your suggestions. Thanks

is it okay to use a 350a anl fuse for a 3000d? or 250a fuse?
-
I'm having the same problem too. Having the port facing the rear hatch leaves me a 4inch space. Some says it will hit good numbers, well others won't. I gotta test test and test.

Hi everyone, you got a very nice forum, very informative one and lots of pics!!!! Im having my build now and ssa guys might wanna help me. I'll post a thread for my queries.. It's so good being here.

I made some internal measurements assuming 3/4mdf will be used. what would be the box's tuning frequency here? My wild guess is it's a 4.25cu.ft after displacement etc. help me please Is the port safe having a 4 inch gap at the rear door?
