Well since each SX is dual 2 and I'm running 4 I'll be running the 2500Ds at .5 ohms <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Both amps at 1ohm pull 390max current... 2500rms/12.8v=195ax2amps=390a at .5 you are looking at more current draw...probly somewhere in the range of 550a...I am guessing. 1/0 can safely handle 350a max. Id run atleast 2 runs of 1/0. Team pwnage has seen over a full db gain off an extra run of 1/0. 4 would be nice, 8 if you feel froggy...run the grounds directly to the frame too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thanks jntar.

well I guess I'll do my 4 runs from the red top then. I've got alot of wiring and bs ahead of me. Anyone care to help? TireFryr? 4 batteries need wired up, need to source a 250 amp alt, have to do 4 runs of 1/0 gauge through 3" pvc along the frame rail, have to do a bunch of grounds. need to buy more 4 gauge and 1/0 gauge wire. and then after all that is done I need my amps and other 3 subs. lol

alright well I'm out. My head hurts and I got some homework to finish. Then I got a long day at World Of Wheels

hey Chevy anyway you could e-mail me a sticker so I can send it to a graphix company around here to get some made.

there was a kid in my machine shop class today that got depantsed

yea I've figured that out. I was just starting at 80A and going from there. I figure run 80A for daily and see what I can get in burps. Welp guess I won't be running a main fuse then. 4 runs do it on the wire?
-
do I need a main in line fuse? I don't have one now and have no problems. if I need one then a 250A one and 80s in my distro blocks
-
hey tire can you give me a basic idea of current draw? I know what I'm running and what not but I'm not exactly a wizard with eletronics.
-
lol Drive By follows the same rules as Modified
-
anyone know how to figre out how many runs of wire someone wouold need?
-
and u know this how? Just curious not doubting. I know I'll be using 2 Orion 2500Ds, 4 batteries in the rear and a red top under the hood.
-
I'm still tryin to figure out how many runs of 1/0 gauge wire I need. any idea?

Chevy I talked to KnuKonceptz today and they said they had been way way way busy. He said my package was going out just then when I called(3:45 p.m.) and said I should have it friday.
-
well I've just decided to go in Drive By. That will be the easiest. Just gona run a loud daily setup.

lol on my daily setup I don't have a fuse on my power wire till you get back to the distro block, and then thats only an 80. -
which JLs are they? the RE REs can take a beating but I don't know if they can handle what certain JLs can.
-
well no I meant like one of the copper bars that you see modified and radical guys using that have like 15 connections on them.
-
well the only battery under the hood will be a red top. the back will have between 4 and 8 Everstart MAXX batteries because Drive By has an unlimited battery quantity and I can always use the juice. Well it looks like I got some more research as to what to do for wiring. How many runs of 4/0? I know that I need to make some battery top plates so I can hook up multiple wires to one terminal. Say 4 runs of each? 4 positive and 4 negative. But what do those go to? Distro blocks? Still new to this stuff.
-
well it looks like the new classes for MECA make me in S4 so that ain't gona happen with me. I'm gona run Drive By I think. 2 Orion 2500Ds it looks like is what I'm gona get. Can pick em up for $600 shipped. now I need some more wire.

lol 17V ain't happening in Street

no idea. Mapquest? Looking into 1 Hifonics Goliath or 1 Soundstream XXX 6500 also.
-
well I can't take them down all I can do is fold them forward but have to be able to set them back up if a judge wants.
-
well the burb I'm lookin at has 4 captain chairs instead of just 2 and a bench. the 3rd row of seats is coming out. I'm hoping to get about 60" deep, 23" tall, and 48" wide. I don't have to be under the window line for S3 just have to be under the headrest of the most rear seats and not block rear vision.
