tryin to find a damn alternator for my toyota. Massive Audio says you need to have a 220 amp alt for their warranty to be valid and I'm gona need one anyway so I figured might as well. that and I've been messing with WhatPulse lately. Fun program.

i hate to say it but for ultra low lows and ridiculously loud I would go with either an 18" MT w/ stiff spiders and quad 1 ohm coils, the HD18s when they come out, or DD9917s.

So I'll be using that as a tow vehicle for my boat and what not. I do have somewhat good news though. I did find a truck to bag. '90 S-10 Ext Cab 4.3 Auto. It was cheap enough so I bought it. My plans for it are: Kenwood XXV-05V Seas Lotus Reference Components Image Dynamics IDQ15 DLS Ultimate A7 Amp Monitors in Visors Thats it. I already bought the 15" IDQ. I have one of the monitors for the visors. I just need another.

Kinda sad. Been looking to get into competing but all the organizations I have looked @(dBDrag, USACi, IASCA, and MECA) don't have comps around the Indiana area. All are in Ohio and what not. I don't mind traveling a state or so but why no shows in IN?

well I don't technically have the sub amp yet. Its pending sale and the guy is just waiting on me because I haven't collected all of my funds yet. Also because this will be going in a show truck I like the amps to look somewhat the same. Kinda of a show car thing.

what about this setup: HU: Clarion DXZ865MP Front Stage: Diamond Audio 8" Mid, Diamond Audio 4.5" Mid, and Image Dynamics CD2 Mini Horns Mid/Rear: Diamond Audio D971 Comp Set(Still debating on if this is needed or not) Speaker Amps: Orion HCCA-D1200 for 8" mids & Orion HP-4600 Subs: 2 18" RE Audio SXs Sub Amp: 1 Orion HCCA-D5000 220A Alternator, 1 Red Top, 1 Yellow Top, 2 Runs of power and 2 runs of ground 1/0 wire that seems like a pretty solid LSQ setup. I'm getting more and more away from the SPL setup to a LSQ setup. What should I do for a EQ? Will the HU EQ be enough?
