the box is actually from PWK designs...thanks pete! what was really challenging here is that we had to compute and guess all the measurements. The outcome is great for a 175 rms sub that only 8inches. havent had the chance to meter though. Its too low anyway (30hz) so its probobly gonna be like 130ish DB or so only. by the way, its only being powered by channels 3&4 of a JBL 1004 (bridged) then 1 and 2 for the seps (mohawks and morels) But it shakes the car like hell.

thanks for the reply guys! just changed my HU to a pioneer 6050, The subs broken in already and does pretty well with the low notes. Its a rear horn box tunned at 30hz

Thanks for all the nice comments. Its a basic 1 amp system. so the 3 and 4 channels are bridged to power the RE8 which is just 175 rms, The JBL gives out just 150 rms. The sound is pretty much impressive. the box is tunned verrrrry low. Yup its a rear loading horn box. all i can say is for 150 rms, it shakes my kitchen doors

the box is from cnj autosound in the Philippines

sorry for the soo late reply. what particular direction would best suite my set up? towards the cabin?....hmmmm, Ill let you guys know

go with the Fi ssd 12 and feed it at least 1000 watts. My SSD12 is being powered only at 4ohms at 1200 watts at a 38hz box and still can do great in competitions. It recently did 140db on term lab (installed in the trunk of a toyota sedan) and even won 4 competitions so far
-
recently just won 2 more awards with my SSD! these babies are really worth it!
-
My take on this is this: The most efficient among the FI lines, given the factor of 500 watts on each sub is the SSD. All because of its rating it can sing at its own level of likeness. The BL, Q and BTL however will still move the cone with 500 watts but will not perform as well because it was not build for that small amount of power. Again it will sing but not that well.....so to answer the querry of EFFICIENCY, its the SSD (at 500 watts)

Hi alvin, Thanks for the info on Fi subs. Hope I win this coming comp
