Why are you doing a Dual 1? You are going to burn stuff up with a D1 in parallel man...baaaaaaaaaad idea. Ditto. Run a Dual 2 so you can run the 3500 at 1 ohm.

Ive always heard you say that there were no need for rears, but does it hurt anything by having them? What about just running cheap coaxials in the back?

I have both the amp and sub you are looking for. The SSA Icon and sundown 1000d. Im selling both and upgrading to two 18" Xcons. Its an awesome combo and is a pretty good price.

Yeah I have more space, but I wanted to keep the height limited to 25" so I could still have quite a bit of visibility through the rear glass.

Im in Auburn, which is an hour away.

Where in Bama are you? I currently have the Sundown 1000 and a 12" Icon but Im upgrading to two 18" Xcons. I could cut you a deal if youre interested. I also have a box, but its not going to fit under your seat lol.

Theres nothing wrong with welding wire. Its just not as flexible. Lots of people use it for big systems because they run so much wire that its a pretty substantial savings. Knukonceptz is fine. Thats who Im using currently. Kicker and stinger both make good wire also--its just pricey.

You just want more of my money!!! As long as your prices are similar to SSA shop, I dont see a problem with ordering the amps through you. That will be a little while though as Im just stockpiling stuff right now.

Digital multimeter. Knukonceptz is fine. Or you could go cheaper and get welding wire. There are tons of walkthroughs on the Big three. You should be able to find a lot just by googling.

Me. Great choice on woofer's Yeah. Ive got a 12" Icon right now that Ive had for a year or two and like always, gotta go bigger. Never had 18s so I figured they could be next on the list. To be honest, I wasnt going to get the Xcons. They were in my list, but I really wanted to try out some DC Level4XLs. But when I saw Quentins free box with sub purchase, it was a no brainer. This will be a full build to come in a few months. Everything will be upgraded. Front stage, maybe rear stage, all electrical, and of course substage. Im thinking the new Sundown 3500 will fit this perfectly. That plus a powermaster 3100 or two in the back and a 100.4 or two. It should make for a nice groundpounder.

Why are you so set on 4 18s? Start slow man. The more you spend, the more you stand to lose since you are somewhat new to this. Why not go with 2 18s? You can always throw two more back there some other time. I said to change your amps because there's no way those Koles are putting out the 3200 watts that they claim when they only cost $300 new. Id try to get them clamped or find out what they actually put out before deciding on subs. You're just looking at the price of the subs. There are a lot of additions when building a system, especially with BTLs since they need so much power. You're looking at 8k watts, and thats not burping them. You really just need to read and research.

Youre going to need new amps. Batteries depends on which batteries you buy. You'll need at least one upgraded alternator, if not two. No to the capacitor. Sound deadening material soley depends on you and your tahoe. Type of box? A big one. A big ported one. Universal allows the subs to be reconed to whichever ohm you want. What you need to do is read and research. What you want is very expensive and thats a lot of money to lose if you fudge something up.
