Looks cool over there. And I said it before, my thoughts are only based on gut looks. Can it run full boogie at 1 ohm for lots of time ? It does great, he takes it to 1 ohm for burps, 16Kw+ on tap, needless to say he needs recones after a days worth of burps

Reducing laminar resistance...

Adrian, here's one of those "10 second amps" He turned the gain all the way down, his electrical is having a bit of a hard time. Wired to 4 ohms nominal, rise to 6.6 ohms, dropping to mid 14 volts on 16 volt system. Woofers are two RD Heavyweight 18's, tuned to 28 Hz. it's BRUTAL in there, the camera is whobly because I was busy being earfucked lol

That cooling philosophy is backwards, you want a tight gap to increase air velocity. -

New cars are designed to absorb impacts, it's much better to have the vehicle take the impact and crush like an aluminum can than to have an old all steel and iron car transfer energy and instead your head is crushed like an aluminum can.

Well, his car at 10 MPH has a kinetic energy of 20,000 lb-(mph)2, certainly enough to break some things

I agree with Mr. denim, no need to be frustrated, suggestions made without knowing what exactly is needed is counterproductive. On a side note, I can fit an 18" ported in my trunk

Because then you deal with the complications of internal bracing? Yes, there are adverse affects. I NEVER use internal bracing. Why? I'm sure bracing in an acoustic suspension enclosure, a 4th order, or a 4th order bandpass wouldn't hurt.

Stock electrical and 1500w amp wha tis the best 15 i could get ?
Duran replied to oestjo's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I wouldn't go that far, because there are subs that are insanely inefficient and insanely stiff that require 3000+ watts to be useful. Then I'd look for different woofers. -
Thin w/ assets FTW!

"Bromo" does excellent enclosures, many people on here do.

Duran replied to edouble101's topic in Build Logs
I did find the screws, in the handgrip and in the handle lever, but couldn't find any others. I knew there would be come clips but damn it seems there are a lot My build will be similar to yours actually lol, XS power and DC under the hood, XS in the rear, a single 15", mine will be a 4th order BP though. -

I've been trying to tear into mine, how in the hell did you get your door panels off? -
Misconceptions cause problems, things get lost in translation, and sooner or later people start confusing a 4th order to a 4th order bandpass, they are vastly DIFFERENT, hence the correction was made. The issue is now done with, back on topic.

The amazingly EPIC yet slightly tragic judicial system.

Very lucky this time Drew Here we have emission and inspection tests our vehicles have to pass, if you don't pass, you can't register the vehicle, and our police officers have cameras that scan everyone's license plates lol -
