ahh. well we will hope he wont fall through Well Rob he's not gonna do it. He is gonna stick with his 15"s and he had a 2800 WRMS amp, I don't know what, I haven't seen it yet. He was a smart ass and said hes not gonna go with the BTL's cause he doesn't want to blow me out of the water, he wants some competition. Ill give him some damn competition.

Steve Meade drives around with 16,000 watts and 4 18"s daily. Chicken will be driving around with 30,000 watts and 8 18"s soon. I consider a daily driver any car with a sound system in it that is driven around safely, ie no concrete filled vehicles like Alan Dante's Volvo.

I don't think he will do it, he is just so caught up in being better than me so he is gonna get some of the best equipment out there, and go cheap with the electrical upgrades. I told him he is gonna drop thousands but he still wants to do it. And this is a high school kid, dream on!

Mine comes out to 5.7 cubes after displacement. how did you come up with 5.7 cuft. after displacements?? I dunno I just did. It sounds a little weird to me too.

I did not get 32 Hz. with those numbers. I got 40 Hz. tuning.

No. Tuning is attained by the port length.

I'm glad you asked 18" subwoofers need 14-16 square inches of port per cubic foot. 14x9=126 16x9=144. You need anywhere between 126 and 144 square inches of port.
