$175 tops for subs. IA Lethal Injections are on sale for $162 I think I'll go with those. Where would I put another battery? Inside my truck!? (Tahoe) Isn't that what the caps are for? Why does it show caps in every car audio diagram then? DO NOT USE A POWER CAPACITOR! A Battery or two will be much better for you.

Okay instead of starting a new thread about it I will just ask in an old one. I just finished my box design for my 12" Nightshades. Its using 1" MDF 32"W 12.5"H and 32"D. 3.3^3 ft. tuned to 35 Hz. total port length is 45.125" with 96^2 in. of area. Does that sound right? I can't quite get Sketchup to agree with me so is it possible for someone to check my math and sketch it? Thanks guys.

Its not being underrated thats bad, its the fact that that amp will clip the hell out of your poor ICON if you aren't careful.
-
Why do you say don't port the Q? The BL and Nightshade are similar, SIMILAR, not the same. The Nightshade generates more motor force and is more SPL oriented yet just as musical. I say the Nightshade + 1500D would be phenomenal.

I second the Sundown E8. ~200 watts
-
You don't need 2000+ watts to run a BTL; the BTL is more efficient than the BL, meaning it will convert more power into sound vs. the BL. It would be louder. I would get the BTL and save room for an amp upgrade in the future if needed.

7 what? 7 square inches?

Are you looking for sheer output?

Good catch bromo, I didn't even see that they were 5.25"

same. It was intended. Why? Did it benefit you to belittle other people?
-
Yeah that will work. Is there any reason you want Rockford Components though?

Don't drill it, cut it out. We had an ordeal where someone drilled it and the bit put extra tension when it rotated and caused a total surround failure, ie was ripper in several places. Take the gasket off and cut it.
