lol, no point in deadening anything at all then if you're going to be that lazy. Either do it right, or don't even do it. I feel the same way. You could be wise and loose the attitude aswell.

When you say there is power going into the amp are you talking about the positive and negative terminals or the rcas? I'm 99% sure it was 12V he checked. Not RCA's.
