Given you have space it works, yes the goal is to have everything i the front. Most people simply don't have space.
-
Why? There is a reason our ears angle forward and we have elastic cartilage that also angles forward. We are designed to hear sounds from in front of us more than in the rear, you can thank evolution for that. A subwoofer in the dash is a whole other story. There would not be enough space for the sound wave to generate. You are comparing apples and oranges my friend.

Your ears aren't designed to listen to things behind you, why put it there?

Crunch GP3000d Pro vs US amps Xt4000
Duran replied to Wolfsblane's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Here you go buddy right from Us amps website. It's 1500 rms at 1 ohm and says that it does 4000 watts dynamic power. Everyone knows dynamic power doesn't mean chit. Quit being a newb. http://www.usamps.com/xt_amps.html Edit: Us amps USED to be a very reputable company in like 2000. Now they over rate their low end models like most other big companies. The only amp that they make the will more than likely do rated power are their Merlin and AX Series amps. I never said it will to 4,000 watts. I said rated, as in 1,500. -
From what I understand, yes.

Nightshade where are you getting your information? US Amps is a very reputable company that makes solid amps that do rated power. -
well the old BTL had a big triple stack motor, this years had a wider single stack. The new one had more motor force than the old. It looks "weird" to accommodate the movement of the coil singe it isn't a triple stack they put more steel in it so they don't limit coil travel.
