Velocity is increased as air is compressed? It just hit me...that would be a VERY useful program.

Ahh I love it when newer members are like this, totally open and helpful. I also love the fiberglass, nothing beats the smell of resin in the morning

It's good your car is still okay. How do the tinsels look? -
Two ports is complicated, and you probably don't know how to calculate it. Stick with one.
-
I'm glad, you made a wise decision.

A picture could help us.

You would. I vote Nightshade-X. Boo! thats not really intented for daily i dont think Not true Bah read the thread I have. Yes it wont give you the smoothest response due to the insane amount of motor force, that doesn't mean you cant use it daily It means you want to be LOUD.
-
It doesn't matter if you took offense or not, that kind of behavior is not welcome on this forum. This isn't Ca.com and I hope the day never comes when it is.
-
That is not appropriate. You ask a question, and when given some criticism for the utterly retarded question you asked you make remarks about someones mother. Please refrain from acting twelve years old. Mod's please lock this thread.

Why are on Earth are you going to buy both subwoofers? You listen to rap music, almost no rap will go below 33 Hz, where the Q would outperform the BL. You are looking for output and power handling, the Bl will deliver where the Q cannot keep up. With the Nine.1 you are already reaching the thermal limits of the Q where the BL will take that 1,200 watts and smack you in the face for being so damn ignorant. I hope it does cause you need it.

Now be careful there. I have some very pathetic work done at audio shops, but most work done my DIY'ers is much worse.
-
Why would you want to protect your battery? You protect everything that comes from your battery not the other way around.
-
Which means what exactly? You have a very rich and stupid friend who decided to blow much more money than he needed to on overrated subwoofers?

On that note (194 dB) human eardrums rupture At 200+ the shock wave (it's no longer a sound wave) literally kills people.

Very good point -
depending on the install. I do double baffle so that the box won't flex and try to fall apart making it stronger. Bracing helps but double baffling is necessary depending on what your building. For this one i would do it Most double baffles are to keep the sub(s) from ripping out of the box. no you do it so the pressure from the subs don't destroy it. If you got alot of power etc you wanna do it. I have seen alot of boxes flex due to not double baffling it( everything sides, bottom top). Like i said, some people need to do it, some don't. 1inch mdf will work to An extra layer of wood wont add nearly as much strength than some good cross-bracing.

Before we say its blown, is it still working? Have you taken it out of the enclosure? Tested coils?

Fusing doesn't mean anything. I can put a 500 amp fuse on my SAZ-3000D and is it going to magically put out 5,000 watts? No. -
Internal bracing will do A LOT more good than doubling everything.
