whats the difference in 1/2" and 3/4" mdf
Duran replied to lilwhteranger's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
Well you should predrill all of your holes anyway. And the screws really only need to hold for the first few hours, because after that the dried glue is what holds the box together. When I USED to use screws, I always predrilled holes. ALWAYS ALWAYS. However, I've found that a Titebond3 glue joint is more than sufficient. i always pre drill my holes any way regardless of the thickness of the wood but what i was saying was that when you have to drill a hole nearly as large as the screw itself you lose alot of holding power while with a thicker piece of wood to screw into you dont have to make the hole quite as large because the wood is less likely to split. and i dont like just using glue the screws are kindof an extra security for me The glue is stronger than the wood itself -
What do you mean? As in flex? i think he meant #'s Oh I see . No numbers for you yet.

I got them before you started making them in house. For $285

Sensitivity is efficiency, meaning based on just that factor the BL would be louder. But it isn't the only parameter you need to be looking at.

Jake, you told me to wait for the aluminum plugs then send them in for upgrades

I'll be sending one of my Nightshades in for a recone and cooling

I would never desecrate such a beautiful piece of equipment like that if it wasn't already broken
-
i believe its usually true. That's why the martial artist can break all those bricks. after years of breaking bricks their bones have fractured and grown back. Thus making a thicker and stronger bone. Bones continually grow. When you stress bones cells in the bone get into action to built new bone over the stressed bone, as they do this small layers from un-stressed bone are removed to build up protection for the bone that is frequently stressed.

Those are the ones, I would stay away from them

Haha I blew the dustcap off, as well as breaking the spider joint. So I decided to take my 3000d to .5 ohms and blow it. The trooper lasted about 5 minutes, then one tinsel lead broke, and 5 minutes more to unwind the coil and it was toast.

It took me a second to load. Try again.
