good choice on the amp for those 2ohm components. (if you change to a 4 ohm component set id recommend a 50.4) how did you arrive at picking that set specifically? i would suggest you look into other components, maybe some searches and reviews that might steer you to a better set for the money (just to be safe). how much did you find those speaker for? They were like 149. I was just looking around and read some decent reviews. I was also looking at the kicker qs or rs series. I don't know any non "name" brands, speaker wise anyway. That is why I made the topic, I figured maybe someone might post a few good brands. As you can see noone did. So I searched around a bit. If you can snag the old Kicker SS series you may like them, they were replaced by the QS series.

Jacob did them to mirror the amps, the SAE, SAX, and SAZ series. Like the Z15", he has the E8" (which is discontinued BTW) and the X8".

You do NOT want sound quality. Don't even begin to say you do. Ever again.

The only difference is cone area.

Take the batteries out and set them on a concrete floor, that will drain them pretty quick. -
Polyfill works when sound waves pass by it and the fibers vibrate, this heats the air and amplifies the sound waves. The general rule of thumb is one pound of polyfill per cubic foot of airspace.

Turn that useless "Loud" button off and set your gains with your volume up no more than 21/36, and NEVER go higher unless you know what your doing.

I was pretty raunchy yesterday

Why are you getting the Fi Q when you don't want sound quality you want loud? There are better choices what will sound the exact same if you put them in the right enclosure. You need a BL

No. X2. You need to learn a lot more kiddo.

i seen a few of your vids with the 4 15's on utube ... im working on the build for 4 warden 15's right now ... so brace your self ooooh and look me up on utube beajay25 .. i got about 20 vids on there So your the annoying guy that compared the BTL's and Level 5's...how you got 155 DECIMALS with the BTL's, and how they have "little" motors.

I only have 2 5 1/4's, Im going to add 2 more in the back doors. I dont care for component sets. Why on EARTH do you not care for components? -
Fi will sell you one.
-
Well the major difference is... 0.20 cubic feet It depends on woofer, amp, music, vehicle, tuning, port area, etc.
-
That's an Fi BL, if you want something to take the power its the XS-SPL Series, which equates to the old BTL...they are even made by Fi.

Your saying "them", do you have two 15's? single 15....I was meaning the sub+port, sorry should have made that more clear. You really should have more airspace. Your sitting at 3.89 cubes WITHOUT port displacement.

what i mean by sound quality is i want it to hit the notes i throw at it (below 80 hz most likely 60 and under) and be able to keep up with the response of fast music like techno Pretty much any driver you buy from a reputable company will be able to do that provided it's applied properly. X2. Any driver you throw in the right enclosure will play everything you want it too, you just have to design it to play what you want.

Why do you want eight 5 1/4" speakers? Especially more in your rear doors...you want the sound to come from in front of you, that's why it's called a front stage. Put a good component set in front of you it will sound much better and probably be louder than all eight of your 5 1/4"ers. -
No. Input voltage does not play a part on resistance. Oh and to the OP...18v
