The first version 125.2 started out as a 100.2, but every amplifier consistently put out 25+ watts over rated. That may not seem like much, but considering that's 1/4 rated power it's very significant. I know you bought a 50.4, that was just an example.

Any mainstream company has horrible customer service (some get back to you right away and then some give you the run around). You also have some that will take forever to get them replace (a year or better), so that is why most are stepping away from these guys and using non mainstream brands with customer service. I never dealt with them but giving you a heads up of what you might be in for. I also have never had experience with using the Audiopipe warranty, mine failed after the warranty.

Like most audio companies, if you are lucky enough to purchase something that has a manufacturers warranty, you will receive a discount towards a new amplifier. Very few companies will not charge you for their services.

No, don't attempt to fix it as it's not broken. It's perfectly fine. I doubt you could move the slugs anyways, they use very heavy duty glue.

I believe Chris modifies the amps a bit to put out more power and make them more reliable, not that they are underrated or unreliable though. In fact it's quite the opposite
