bromo with your formula is that for a round port or slot port? If it was for a round the conversion to a slot is Dv' = 2*((W*H)/pi)^0.5 right?

You should have more than that, that's minimum. If you want to play at full volume for more than a few minutes get more power.

Amplifier choice won't matter much, JL audio and Rockford Fosgate both make excellent amplifiers. Don't chose one over the other because it puts out more power, that is what a gain knob is for.

I'd go the 1/0 gauge way, in case you ever wanted to upgrade amplifiers in the future

Hey I tried to play with Excel and make it calculate using those formulas but I couldn't get it to work at all, any tips? Make sure you write them right in Excel and have an example for checking. I wrote them right, but it would be easier to see it done, I don't have any examples.
