You're going to run into the same problem. You didn't break the actual spoiler you broke the spoiler mount. Changing the material the spoiler is made of will NOT be beneficial. Carbon fiber is EXTREMELY strong, you probably wouldn;t break a normal fiberglass spoiler either though. Rethink this whole situation and attack where you actually have a problem. Reinforce the spoiler mount and you won't have a problem.

They play the same exact notes, the only difference is output. There is no difference in sound whatsoever. The enclosure will determine how the driver performs at given frequencies.
