Any particular reason for using those? I looked up the specs and they have a really high Fs and small Vas...not very good in a door, IMO. There are a literal ton of better drivers for the doors. Maybe not for $27 apiece...but there are options. Well, with a really high Fs like that, you'd need subs that could play well up to 80Hz or so...not very ideal. I'm doing it now, and it's going to change come spring I strongly disagree. They can be run from 40 Hz. all the way up to 2000+ Hz. with great success. Please explain what you mean about a high Fs? You do know it is a midrange right? Why run a speaker below its Fs? And in all honesty, I've never heard of Mach5 until I Googled the model shakes posted. Why are we trying to use a midrange as a midbass? That speaker would be perfect if you put it in a small pod in the kick panels, in addition to like a 9-10" midbass in the door. There is nothig wrong with a driver playing frequencies below it's Fs but let's not get into an off topic debate here. I agree with the kickpanel, but I would vent it outside.

How do I test voltage from amp?
Duran replied to Lifted07Duramax's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Correct. Volts x amps = watts -

How do I test voltage from amp?
Duran replied to Lifted07Duramax's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
The results wouldn't be different, you would need a clamp meter to measure power output in watts. So when amp makers test their product they dont use just a normal voltage tester? Sorry if thats a retarded question, I dont know alot about the electrical side of most things lol Don't worry about asking a retarded question, we're all here to learn -

It won't work the way you want it to. -
I wouldn't go as low as 28 Hz. Unless you listen to pipe organ recordings a lot.

Is it a Jeep Wrangler? Be specific. Vehicle? Budget? Front stage?

The 12" XCON Optimal Ported leads to the 10" ICON Optimal Ported. I checked all the others for you -

On the same toke mans favorite things are pink on the inside. Any real man- Steak Any man who eats this nasty shit- grapefruit Any man who doesnt enjoy tube steak- Pussy. So since steak and grapefruit can be tough on the outside, and pink on the inside, why cant a car be the opposite? Plus somethin about beating a black riced out civi in a pink car just kicks ass. J I'm not religious but...amen!

Welcome to SSA. Powering a sub with it's recommended power is NOT needed. Ever.

You realize that the enclosure will be HUGE to obtain 27 Hz tuning right?

but i thought when the impedance is higher, the amp has more control over the cone... resulting in more accurate reproduction?... Hahahahaha. dont laugh, ass. im trying to learn here. Easy tough guy. KU gave you your answer, I'll laugh all I want because you could have used he search function and found the answer easier. i bet you feel good laughing at people that are trying to learn a thing or two. usually the search function just leads to a ton of different threads, and id have to read through all of them, which would take longer than just starting a thread. real mature. I'll give criticism when needed. Wash the sand out of your vagina and get together with all your newbie friends and have a group un-bunching of your panties.

im confused... can you elaborate more? and are you being serious or sarcastic when you say the wardens are very musical? There is no reason at ALL neodymium motors are any less "musical" than their ferrite counterparts. i didnt mean because of the motor, i meant because i thought it might be designed to be an uber spl machine that might be aimed for more for burps than music It's not designed to be an uber SPL machine, and 99% of the time the enclosure and installation determine the volume at which frequencies are played (SPL).
