It's from having such a large alternator in there. With your ECU controlling the engine you shouldn't have any problem with breaking anything.

If your not getting input voltage it will be the HU and/or RCA's.

If wiring the woofer to 2 ohms the woofer will see total of 500 watts. 250 watts per coil.
