Need a good quality amp

There's some truth to that statement, but how do you think a lot of these "Mainstream" companies started? From a little company catering to Audio Enthusiasts. What if (and I mean when) Sundown becomes mainstream will they be forever labeled as inferior? No, the main purpose of a company is to grow, to profit, and most of all get their name out to the public. Yes, indeed there are some shady companies, but the big names Kicker, MTX, etc all make very high quality amplifiers. It takes a lot of money for Research and Development, for products to be made in america, Etc. So the word "Mainstream" should not be something that is derogatory to a company, but shows how much work they have put into building a quality product. That ends my speech. Agreed, good point. -

Every single vehicle is different, you just need to do testing to get it louder. No one starts off being loud you have to start somewhere. -

With my insurance, since it is not a permanent part of the vehicle, so your homeowners or renters insurance covers damage to those parts, but say you have a $499 sub that is trashed and a $500 deductible they're gonna tell you to screw off. It happened to me -
Be sure to fiberglass them into the wood as well. Sometimes they spin and then your in trouble.

I think I'll try some CCF and color matched vinyl, that'd look factory I think.

I need more opinions about covering this: My options so far are, blue-grey swede, rattle can some Satin Black, or a darker vinyl. Any other possibilities?

No, not true.

While this is true, it also allows for EMI/RFI introduction. Such noise can sound like shit. That is why you see such high pre-out voltages, they actually lower the noise floor. Back in the day with 1/2 volt preouts we had tons of noise issues. That is why old timers swear you have to run the RCAs up the opposite side of the car as your power and remotes. I still cringe when I bundle my RCAs and power wires nowadays... but I know if I do that and have noise introduction I need to fix my ground... Prevents you from melting your terminals Good point, the rcas we have now, do they have better shielding then the old ones? I ran my rcas on the opposite side of power so I've never had any noise issues and can't say that moving it to the power side will/will not introduce any noise in my case. The shielding is a marketing gimmick.

So car question fellas. There is a CR-X for sale close to me I really like, are they better on only the meter, or louder in general cause I could care less about the meter, only loud to the ear
