Three 10's have slightly more cone area, more motor force, and more coil for heat dissipation. But will not have a normal impedance load on your amplifier, make sure of that.

True. I ran a stock Nightshade off my 3KD at .5 ohms for full songs and no damage at all, I took the coil out a few days ago and there is no damage at all to it.
