It might be blown at the "fuzzy" part then. Remove the Battery+ from the amplifier and remove the fuse in question. -

Describe "fuzzy looking" a bit more. Remove power from the amplifier and just pull the fuse out. It's not noon either -

You also have twice the cone area a normal vehicle would.

Speakers mounted in IB are not going to have ANY midbass when they are 6.5" cones, they aren't for midbass in the first place. Seal them and they will have a much more pronounced midbass.

It needing a break in before full power is applied is a myth. All woofers go through a break in period where the spider loosens up. -
Movement causes it to loosen, and it is true with EVERY spider back, that is why Fs if the woofer lowers after break in.
-
Infinite baffle is considered when the enclosure is 15-20 x VAS.

That thread he quoted, while there is a LOT of flaming, has good information about ports.
-
Power is not going to be as important as the displacement the woofer is capable of.

Generally, for numbers, forward and sealed from the back. For a daily driver fire it to the back with plenty of space for the sound waves to get into the cabin.

That's a no-brainer. . You hooked the power antenna lead up for the remote turn-on instead. When you switch to a source different from the tuner, it switches the antenna lead off and likewise, your amplifier. Switch the leads and you should be good. The unit should have a separate wire for amplification control. Thanks guys, will be looking at it tomorrow. That's what it was, thanks fellas.
