If you turn defeat on it will ignore all your input settings and default to factory. -
Nick and Scott will have to chime in, NO ONE else will have experience.

Every vehicle is different sometimes woofer towards the hatch and port to the side does the best, sometimes woofer up port back does best, sometimes woofer and port back is best, the only way to find out is to test

No It is a replacement from one that had a cracked magnet since we no longer use those diameter magnets any longer..so he got a black motor instead.

2 ECLIPSE TI PRO 15" VS 2 INCRIMINATOR AUDIO WARDEN 21" VS ANY
Duran replied to WARDEN DETHSTROKE's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
The Warden is a good choice, you need more one area though if you want it to be musical and put up numbers like that. Just know, MOST of the work goes into the installation and enclosure, not the woofer you pick. -

I like the animated style, with Drek's demo

The XCON is capable of getting really heavy with low end output, but only if you want it to. Most of the work needs ot be done on the installation itself vs. woofer choice.
-
If flat response is what you ask, the XCON will do it well.

Good advice Yoda -
That's the only it can happen since the top plate is still inline with the slugs and bottom plate, that's really hard to do because the motor is held on with epoxy, and there are 6 6-13mm bolts bolting the motor to the basket. It's possible I'm wrong but that's what it looks like. I knew about the epoxy; just assumed that because it had moved the epoxy must have failed. I forgot that there might be bolts that go through the whole assembly. I've never seen a large motor that wasn't bolted, but I'm not positive how SS does theirs.

Is the ferrite cracked? If it is, you need a whole new motor, if it is not, Fi can fix it for you. EDIT: I just saw your picture, are you able to pull the motor off, or does it wiggle at all? I looks as if the bolts might have been ripped.
