not really any budget restrictions...as far as other drivers go, looking for suggestions so i can get some clear/good quality metal.. when i choose the drivers ill then most likely look for amps... i didnt take the deadening as a joke
-
Much appreciated... ///M5 In the original thread that i started you had suggested something along the lines of a PPI DCX 730, so i decided to go with that,,,

2 way This is what ive been told....besides dyna/second skin or whatever im gonna use, do you have any other suggestions for sealant use sheet metal, mdf, acrylic plastic , or hardboard to cover the large holes. I either use silicone caulking or shoe goo ( they make a stronger automotive version of it now ) to attach. Then deaden over top of that. I also tend to do a layer of ensolite ( or some other gasketing foam ) between the door panel and the door it's self. Not so much for sealing as much as for rattle reduction Thank you then im gonna have to go 3 way

bikes are pucking righteous and yes rugdnit i am guilty of driving/riding like an idiot when im on my bike - at times on the highway... the orgasmic 12$ fillups allow me to do so...
-
amazingly only one person was killed...
-
lol....you can still get a bike...just a large one...

lol? All i got from this is we are being punished for bad driving and the words "we all" should be used more conservatively, because we all do not drive like idiots. Gas will eventually reach 8$ a gallon, maybe, but probably not in any of our lifetimes, thats just my opinion...considering we are not nearly at our limits for oil digs. Before we even reach that 8$ mark, we will start digging in other places, like ANWAR (ANWAR has enough oil to last the american people 3 decades). everyone is entitled to their opinion

you still have those power acoustics running them??

I currently own 3 of them and I will tell you that they are some of the finest woofers I have ever had the pleasure of using. The thing I love about them is they not only have the ability to get stupid loud, but they are actually quite musical for woofers that are geared more towards SPL. The transient response that they have in my car is absolutely astounding. More over, I had my new setup in my car for one day and I cracked the piss out the windshield. Very stout woofers indeed. You will not regret making your purchase. I will be posting pics of the build/setup once I am fully completed with the project. what do you have pushing them?? box specs? I was thinking about just starting with one of em....untili knew exactly what i was dealing with

As far as sealed enclosures are concerned, I find myself to be pretty knowledgeable. When it comes to ported enclosures, thats a different story. Ive been reading quite a bit and tryin to find out how the fudge to make one - mainly the port itself and how you incorporate this with the rest of the box. When i look at ported boxes it looks likes a pucking maze and i havent the slightest clue how long to cut each piece of wood <-----thats just one of the many things im not educated on....I know about displacement and all that good stuff but still find myself extremely confused when it comes to ports....if anyone has a site i can go to and read up that would be appreciated, or, if someone would like to explain this silliness to me.... thank you
