Try some 10" phoenix gold rsds they is suppose to be great in a .5 cuft box. It will not take 800 watts though. If you can do 1 cuft I would grab 2. I am planning on running 3 sealed off of 1000+ watts.

Hypothetically if I have a box that is 1 cuft tuned to 30 hz, for say an 10" type r or ID, will this box have a different tuning frequency for a different sub with different parameters, such as a 10" Fi Q? Box being the same and same port area.

Thank you.

If you want to make sure it is noticably louder go with the 15s. But I will tell you I had two e12ks, which by some say they are better than the 12kvs. They were the second gen k series with the tc motor. Anyways I had two sealed and went to one 12 rl-p ported and if there was any loss in output I could barely tell by ear. I did not run the e12ks ported together.

Never Heard of Them!! R THEY GOOD?

My fault it is a 12 spoke, please excuse my ignorance . But I do have to admit that the ones I have held up well, even with what they have been through. -

I have 2 e12ks with the claw basket and they have been great to me. I even ran them with about 600-700 watts a peice. The current k series might not be on the same level as the ones I have. From what I have read the nine.1 seems like a good amp but I would not be paying a neighbor $320 dollars for it. The warranty is tranferable, I think, so you could find one =,>$260 on some of the message boards. -
Since you are using that box and I am guessing it is before displacement of sub. I would suggest just using it sealed. If you want to go ported you are going to need the box built to fit your subs and truck(IMO). Trying to port that sealed box is probably not the best idea. But others more experienced than me may see otherwise

Hello, Looks really good. I just wanted to know how hard it was to make the enclosure. I have the the same car and would love an enclosure like that.

Why not get the DD Z1 amp.

1 12" RL-p sealed 1.5 cuft or 2 12's in .70 cuft
allenzo replied to Moneyload1's topic in SoundSplinter
I think both o his options were sealed. Could be wrong though. -
Thanks fellas.

From my reasoning if you ran a dual 2ohm and dual 4 ohm subs in parallel of the same make and power handling it would give you a .75 load. Would there be something hindering me from dueing this as long as my amp can handle the load?

Sounds amazing.

Well I have done a little listening to the Rl-p in my 2cu.ft box on about 100watts(home) and ~500 watts(car). I would have loved to compare it to my 12AE but never hooked it up. But so far it seems superior by far to my 2 e12ks sealed. Now I have to figure out what speakers to run in the doors. I have some dDiamond Audio M3 6" but they only handle 50 watts and do not play well in the midrange. Can't wait to drop ~800-1000 watts on the Rl-p.

Got mine today. In a couple of days I will be putting it on my Mark Antony. Here it is beside my 12AE. Got to work on my box some more.
-
Thanks. I think I will try both amps an see what I get. And thanks for hopefully a great product. Looking forward to the LMT.

order #20050429-119 good deal Have one question though. I have a Mark Antony that does 1000+watts @ 1ohms and a concept 500ML don't know if it is 1ohm stable but I think it is. Which would be recommeded or should I get a 9.1, hifonics BX1605d, concept 1200 or wait on the RE 12.1. My box is ~2.0 cubes @ ~34hz. Also is there any benifit running the Rl-p on 1000+ watts versus 600-800.

I was debating selling it but was not sure exactly which amp is was. The guy I bought from was getting a TRU sledge hammer. and said it was a 250opcm but I think he missed typed it. There is no model number on the amp. I had it running 2 e12ks D4 in a sealed box for about 10 months. I

Has anyone used or have experience with Mark Antony amps. I have 25opcm, I think not sure. I just want to know if I should go with a different amp(do not know specs of amp). I will be running different subs for daily and comps but they both should handle 1000 watts.

Just a quik question. Would you guys recommend a single rl-p ported or 2 rl-ps sealed. I have limited trunk space in the back of a eclipse. I I go with one sub I have to get a new amp. I currently have a Mark Antony running 2 E12ks 2nd generation at about 1400+ watts@1ohm sealed. The 2 rl-ps, if I can get another dual 2ohm would put the amp over 2000 watts. There reason I am asking is because i want to know is it sensible to run 2400 watts for a car that will probably only see a couple of local comps.

I am in for one sub. I don't know if I got counted before. It doesn't matter to me if it is a 12 or 15 inch. Right now it looks like it is going to be 12s.
