Mercedes Benz Install - SoundSplinter - Second Skin - CDT Audio
bigbruno replied to P-Dizzle's topic in Build Logs
WOWSERS!! That was alot of pics, but a very nice and very clean install. Just to be curios, how long did it take to do all of that? -
Ok, cool. If I'm ever headed that direction, I'll have to look you up and come see it.
-
That setup of his looks like an antique from the latte 90's. He needs to get rid off all of it, and get a real setup.
-
Are you planing on doing a package deal like there was before with amp/sub combo?
-
Just to be curios, where in Texas are you? If you were close to me, I'd have to try to come see this in person to get a better idea of how it's turning out.
-
Did I read that right? 21 group 31's? That's some real porwer. Definetly looking forward to more pics on this one.
-
I thought that headunit had high and low pass crossovers built in to it? I know mine does and it's the P-5900ib
-
That turned out very good looking. I really wish I had the skills that you have. 2 thumbs up.
-
It has a shorter winding height - so it actually came out a bit lighter Ahh, this explains alot Cool, I definetly like how this is going, and where it's going.
-
The 12-layer is lighter? I figured it would actually be heavier. Non the less, it just keeps getting better.

I don't play golf, but that's pretty sad. I don't have the patience or control to play put-put, much less golf. I got bored and irritated with it last time, and just started hittin the ball as hard I could for the fun of it.

If my choice was limited to just a yellow top, or a red top, I would have to pick the yellow. They were designed solely for purposes like car audio, and racing where they don't run an alternator. It's meant to handle heavy discharges. -
I don't think you can buy the remix on a CD though. It can't be a burnt CD. I've been trying to think of something, but can't seem to have any luck.

They're shipping out of Houston, that just means that most likely it missed the cut off for today because of running behind. You can always call them to and they should be able to let you know a little more on it. I'd think that you should still have them tommorrow. That same thing happened here on one of our packages the other day, and that's what they told me. do i call the houston hub? or should i just call ups 1800 Just call the 1-800-go-ups. It's automated, so just keep saying random things it can't understand and after about the 3rd attempt it'll send you to an operator. Give them the tracking number, and ask them what they think the problem is and they get you taken care of.

Is one battery (yellow top) enough for my 15" bl
bigbruno replied to rybruce33's topic in General Fi
NO, that's roughly where your subsonic filter should be set to. Your crossover should be set at somewhere between 50 and 80 hertz, depending on what the rest of your setup is like. If you have a weak midbass, then 80 hertz. If your midbass is very strong, you could set it at around 50 hertz. Me personally, I like mine set at around 70-80 hertz for pleanty of fill. -
Cool, I'll keep my eye's out for when get the nightshade's. I'll have to find a good weekend when I don't have to work, and come down there. It's only about a 1-2 hour drive from here.
-
i am too... so i sure will keep an update.... i wanted some beefed up nightshades but i wanted subs by the weekend. it could have been done but it would have been close.... to rather then chance it i went with the stock nighshade and im gonna see how close they will be to eachother... but ill make a hypothesis right now and we can see how it turns out i think the night shade will out perform the bl's tripple stacked mags 1500 watts rms and i mean chit man... after owning 2 sundown amps i have nothing but high expectations for these subs.... but if i need more then i will send them back in for a recone... with the "beef" as i like to call it. get another saz 3000d and see what happend with 6k on a pair! and if thats not enough... the BEAST are next.... YEAAHHH One of these days I'm going to have to see if I can make a trip down there to see your car and hear this new setup, if that's alright with you.

Vicodin was my friend when I hurt my knee HOpefully they get yours taken care of pretty quick, it was a month and 1/2 after I hurt mine before they even did and MRI on it, and I started to develop a permanent limp from it.
