i think those amps are strappable. If they are the manual that came with the amps should show how to wire it. -
this one is the best
-
build a cover to go over the amps today.
-
The E8's are great. im using 4 right now of a saz3000 at 4 ohms. check my profile for the build on it. i used to have an kicker L5 8 it did me well till it got stolen.

help me choose what car to wall!

i would go with using that 16volt setup. -
I hooked up the sundown amp today, but first i clamped the alpine and got 377 watts with a voltage drop down to 14. i got the sundown in and its giving out 819 watts with a voltage drop down to 11.19. the text were done at 55hz and 60hz. here how it looks now. its still icy and rainin, so once that stops ill put a cover over the amps. heres a pic of how it looks through the back seat.

edit: double post

How much output would you lose between say a 2 12" set up and a 12" with a PR? All the PR acts as 'i think' is a port

Im tryin to put more power to it now, but i either dont have time or the weather sucks.. im gonna try tomorrow and put im my saz 3000 wired at 4 ohms, pics to come

Four 10" Icon enclosure (termlab Video...143.6 @ 10hz)

vid yet? -
This one turned out real well, it was kinda perfect that the Axis cone mass was an exact match to tune this box at the reccomended 30hz. The sound is so good on the lows, and unlike those tlines this gives me alot of trunk space. btw i just got my acousta-stuf to stuf the tline with.. but now i dont wanna take the 8's out of this box.

The test had 500watts, the car was almost 350, i like it better in the car,, but my vids never seems to pick up any bass

Finished up today, i got some bracing in it. layed on the carpet. put in the subs and the PR. it sounds nice
-
hmm.. ill have to look at yours pics.. i might do the same thing
-
You cut that part of the rear deck out?
-
Im just goin to get another top assembly for the motor, It is kinda bad to waste this thing.. only one coil is blown so now its just a single 2 ohm sub, still hits mid 140s too,
-
yea the 15 is just actin as a port without havin to add volume for the port, which keeps the box volume down. you just have to make the mass of the cone the same as the mass of the air that would be inside the port if there was one. so the port has a diameter of 12.72"(sd of the sub), 157" long tunes it to 29hz. volume is around 10 ft^3 i think i forgot where i put the paper with it on it. so the mass of the air inside the port would be ~390 g and the mass of the Axis's cone is 390 g, so I can just leave it as is without extra mass added
-
thanks guys. im gonna start back up tomorrow, i gotta add the bracing, some wire terminals. then carpet. Its goin to be powered by an alpine pdx5 givin it around 350 watts. if that doesnt satisfy me if got a few old hifonics amps i might use one of or throw my saz 3000 back in and run it at 4 ohms
