  1. I was wondering if anyone here has used trojan batteries before cause the local distributor around me quoted me an awsome price on a 2400cca agm battery and I am wanting to know if they last long and are any good.
  2. ok thanks guys im looking into them cause the local dealer quoted me like 125 or 140 a piece for a 2400 amp agm when he asked what it was going in i just said its for a system and he used to compete a few years back locally so he knew what i needed it for right away
  3. the 6v ones in the golf carts are about 100-150lbs
  4. i think they are none lubricated and a little to bu cu lol
  5. the brand itself is used in a lot of golf carts i know i just need a bigger battery to help feed my amps power hunger
  6. I am looking to install a Sundown SAX1200D in my truck after I get the money up. My question is to run it at 1 ohm what all will I need to upgrade on my electrical besides the Big 3? If I need a larger or more batteries what size should I run and what should I run for the alternator?
  7. my voltage dropped last night from about 14 volts down to around 11.5 volts on my new sub wired at 1ohm and my amp only half of the way up
  8. thanks playing with my current setup last night i definitely need to upgrade my electrical at idle I dropped to almost 10 volts on my oem voltage gauge and at 1200rpms i was around 12 volts
  9. another question is why is it that I see some people with like a run or wire to every one of there batteries?
  10. yeah i am trying to sell a few things that I dont need so that I can afford to do all my electrical upgrades so it may be a couple months but my plans are the big 3, the larger alternator, and probably a kinetic 3400 battery or 2 in my bed and I am thinking about a kinetic 2400 or 1600 under my hood. What is the XS Power voltage controller for?
  11. the stock alternator is around 100 amps but I am looking to swap it out to a fullsize truck AD244 that have been tested to put out over 200amps at idle on the s10s and I may rebuild it with larger guts.

    Death Row 12

I have a Alphasonik PMA600HCA that is rated at 1800rms at 1ohm and I was wondering if one death row 12 would take the full power of my amp on a daily basis but I tend to turn everything down on the cd player unless I am showing off

    Death Row 12

ok im thinking more like a saz1000 or a elemental design nine.1 for a new amp or something like that when i upgrade

    Death Row 12

Ok I had a spl 15 on the amp wired at 2ohms so it was only getting 900 wrms and it was stupid loud we had to unplug the rca's in order to talk when listening to rick ross on a road trip. I want almost the same volume I have now just want more space I figure if I am pushing to much power to it I can unbridge it and hook it to one of my channels. How many watts will the dr handle on burps?

Fi BL12 on an Alphasonik Amp

I currently have 2 db drive platinum 12s on an Alphasonik PMA600HCA that is rated at 1800rms and I was wondering if the Fi BL12 would do good on this amp or should I look into a different amp or woofer?

    soundstream mids

I just ordered a set of soundstream components and dash speakers I am wondering what experience some of yall may have had with them and if they are any good I found them for a good price and I am using them to replace my factory speakers you cant hear them at all over my 6x9s and woofers

    Down fire

i am about to attempt to build my first box for my two db drive platinum 12s and a few friends have been telling me that a down fire box would be the way to go I am wondering if it really makes any difference in the bass level or spl I also planning on porting the box but I'm not sure where the best location for the port would be I'm new to all this when it comes to fabricating an enclosure. Its going to be about a 4 cubic foot box in an extended cab s10 with the port tuned to around 32-35 hertz. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
  22. I'm going to be looking into spending about $500 max on my new amp or amps. I need to know if the woofers can handle any more power than they are rated at an would just like some suggestions towards a good amp is that to much to ask. I'm pushing 1800rms to the pair right now and want to go a little higher on them and want something that may give me a little room to grow later.
  23. I've got a pair of db drive plw12d4 currently on an alphasonic pma600hca and i was wondering what might be a good amp to run so i can put a little more power to them when I build an enclosure better suited for them. How many watts can they actually handle?

    Down fire

when he mentioned building the false floor it was for the subs to load against instead of the carpet. I'm looking at going down fire so the subs firing into the carpet is gonna be counter productive. The one person that mentioned the xmax sag was saying fire them forward or up they fire forward right now but its right in my seat and head. One of my friends ran a down fire set up with three twelves a while back in a square body s10 and it did pretty well

    Down fire

when you say build a false floor you mean like mount my subs in the box and have a panel over them leaving a little gap for the sound to escape from right so it would act similar to a port in directing it out and not into the carpet where its gonna get sucked up and loose response? would it make any difference where the port was located if i port it?
