Hey Nick or Scott ... need some help with an MT, I need a recone by the 4th for a local sound off (if I can get it next-day'd or 3 day guarantee UPS or whatever) but was wondering what options I'd have when it come down to the recone ... I'm throwing ~4k at the sub for burps, I want a dual .7 instead of the dual 1.4 it is now so I can run it at 1.4 or .35 for burps, but suspension/coil wise could it be upgraded? Also as far as the spiders are concerned upgrading to like 5 or 7 layer woven? I sent Nick an email yesterday or the day before ... just need this quick, so I hope it didn't find the spam filter

Dual alt I'd have a solid battery bank, I'll be running 6 HC2400's or maybe D3100's depending on price ... but that's on about 9k RMS.

I found the Kicker PKD1 wiring kits for $85 like $95 shipped, but with a $100 order you get free shipping ... Trying to find the link in my history and I can't ... but eBay gets about $100 for them ... easy way to upgrade. You can also find spools pretty cheap sometimes ... grab a spool of 1/0 and make a positive and negative run to your battery and add a bat in the back. Takes care of 2/3 of your problems for < $300!

Has to work both ways to a degree, I want to keep as much road noise out when I'm driving (on the phone, having a convorsation with a passenger) but daily driving with a loud system, still be able to not annoy every single person the street because I want to feel a little thump to the music. I've got 3kw right now and even at moderately loud levels it's quite loud outside the car through the doors from tweets screaming.

What's the power handling like for the 15's?

Well if Sundown winds up making the 5k I'll have two of them or two 3k's ... I wish I had 8 Rockford 15k's ... I'd just need a semi-trailer for a box.

Well it's going to be a daily driver that will be louder than any of the cars at any of the shows within ~100 miles. Highest score was a low 150 last year - 150.? ... so I just want to mainly keep as much noise as possible IN since it's gonna be a daily driver with 8-15k RMS ... 300sq ft ... eek ... oh well, American Express will love me and my girl will hate me.
