trunk 0-1000, just 3k and 2 12's, average shit.... with a godam super port that will lay all my enemies to rest! -
Yeah that was my goal when creating my username haha! You guessed it spot on.

Yeah I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the score jump up two decibels. Proof is in the pudding, you make excellent flares! Tirefryr
-
By the way, my setup hits a 149.9 on the tl without the front flare, with it, it jumps to 151.8.... This man's flare gained me a solid 2db jump just by adding one flare! Ok that is all.

This is a great idea! I agree you should try and get some molds for some US spec schedule 40 pvc. If anyone wants to use sonotube aka quickrete tube from home depot, they could try and find some that would work with the current flares you produce. Shouldn't be hard to find. If you need any measurements on pvc feel free to ask, I have a HUGE home depot not 5 minutes away from me. btw, those euro spec 8" flares are the bomb, very durable and just perfect all around. Still can't thank you enough, you saved my ass from much agony and pain lol. Seriously, this guy is a true aero flare artist. Anyone want to check out his work, i'll be at the Texas heatwave car show both Saturday and Sunday, just look for a bright orange car. I know several members here on this board will be attending the event.

Equipment: -Pioneer Avh-p5100 h/u Speakers: -Usher 8948a 7" midbass - active -Hertz HSK 165 comp set (6.5" midrange and ht25 tweets) - passive -Morel MDT-39 tweets - active Amps: -Soundstream Van Gogh 500.4 (powering morel tweets and hsk comp set) -Arc Audio SE 2075 (powering usher 8948a's) -US Amps AX3200DE (powering subs @ .75ohms) Subs: -2 12" TC sounds neo axis (2500wrms each - 3ohm DVC drivers) Batteries: -XS Power D2400 -XS Power S1200 up front Need to order: -Mechman 240A H/O alt -Audiocontrol Overdrive Plus line driver So here's the deal. I had one TC 12 axis neo in a 4th order off the ax3200de running at 1.5 ohms sans box rise. No line driver, and I needed one bad since my highs amp at the time didn't have rca outputs so I had to use y-adapters. Either way it did a 140 outlaw on the tl. Not bad imo since it was for a SQ'ish install anyways. But I missed my old 12" btls and was soon fienin for bass again. So I am redoing my system, in fact I am almost done with it... just need to order the H/O alt and line driver, and need to finish wrapping my doors since I fiberglassed them to fit all my frontstage. I will have no rear fill. Then a nice tune and it's done! I built a birch enclosure tuned to around 32hz and used a 7.5" aero port (home depot sonotube) and had Adrian_D off SSA make me some custom flares which fit like a glove. I also sealed the rear deck and trunk lid gaps and holes with great stuff, and filled the rear inner panels and a,b, and c pillars with polyfil. I fiberglassed sealed enclosures for each speaker in the doors and am adding polyfil into them. I will update this thread as I get things finished off. Please excuse the pics, as I took them over time, they are all mixed up. lol The car:

I had the same problem....oem exhaust fixed it lol.

A Suburban A Warhorse and a pair of Double Dees
UpGradde replied to onebadmonte's topic in Build Logs
So I guess output is consistent at ~28+ to whatever lpf is set to, or does output increase as frequency increases? Either way, I bet its nasty loud. How do you plan on setting the gain? Ear, dmm, o-scope....meades new distortion meter.. lol This install is flawless. -

Looking for 4 SA-12 D4...Any in stock? -
Thanks Adrian! Couldn't have got the score without those flares! Can't thank you enough. Hugo, I am actually redesigning the box a bit, and tweaking some "things" lol... hope to break a 153 by heatwave... edouble, I read that somewhere too, I just sanded the whole door panel with 80 grit until it was real rough...so far its held up. Meh, if I were to do it again, i would probably drill some holes just for the extra piece of mind. But I think it'll be just fine.

So how did it go?
-
So I placed 1st in Trunk 0-1000 with a 151.8! Score keeps getting better and better. Here's the final part of the bikini contest I recorded in San antonio today for anyone that wants to see some booty shakin. edit - edouble, I just stapled the cloth onto the door, cut off the excess cloth, then fiberglasses the whole area (Door plastic AND cloth) 2-3 times. Then some sanding with 180, then a weee bit of bondo over the low spots, more sanding, more bondo, more sanding lol... just working with it to get that smooth finish.
