Its around 29-31, the box peaks at 35 so.. Its tuned LOW
-
I just got done ordering my first of 2 XXX 18's My baby will be here in 2 weeks.
-
Ok, shes metered!!! 143 DB at 35hz!!! LOW SPL baby This is on the newest termlab btw
-
There is also more positive things for a bigger box. It will give your woofer much better low end play. THe bigger the box, the most likely the lower it will play depending on port size and tuning. My XXX 18" calls for a 7.5 CF box, but its sitting in a 10.7 CF box 9.8 after displacement. LOW spl is the only thing for me
-
The box is actually 10.7 cubes, very close to 11, but after port displacement and woofer displacement, it boils down to 9.8 or a bit lower, maybe 9.4. Yea, so i was blasten her today and the box dident budge 1 bit, i might still add bracing tho.
-
Lol, i will find out tomarrow! Its kinda late and really dark, i doubt it does tho, its put together nice and solid, but if it does flex, im just gonna add small bracing.

1501BD Rockford fosgate.
-
Its going to become a harsh reality for me very soon
-
Is he using a amp with a bass nob? And are your gains set to work with the Head units volts. High gain + DB nob = death of your woofers.
-
I sugguest using a much bigger box than 2 cubic feet if your using 15's. Maybe 4-5 Cubic feet for each woofer is you want them lows. I would go 33hz at a 10.3 cubic foot box.
-
I might be at the one in elk grove, but the thing is with my cone area i will get destroyed when i compete. + that box isnt made right so i get a lot of cancelation. But yea, i would like to go to Lodi, but not with my van. I dont think it will make it to lodi, its been having a lot of problems lately, and i wont be driving it to far till i get it fixed. If u want to chill some time hit me up on AIM or MSN and we can get together. The lower the bass the better

Hi, im new to these forums, i say i like a lot of what i see! specially the people who have the sound splinters, i have some questions to ask you, but anyway, here is my setup. 4 Kicker CVR 15's (soon to be 2 18" XXX's) 1 1501 BD Pioneer 6x9's Pioneer 240RMS amp powering my 6x9's Alpine 9827 (I just got it 3 days ago and i love it so much, maybe children are in our future) http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600539 The site hasent been updated, but the box is 14.7 cubic feet tuned at 35hz Ive been thru 1 windshield, baught a new one about 2 months ago and broke off my rear view mirror again AS soon as i got my alpine HU, on the way home it flew off... I will take some more pics soon and update my sound domain page cya guys

There aint nothing like having a van that you dont give a chit about.
-
mrray13, 144.5 on the new termlab My system is only a 144.7 on the new termlab.. 42hz... You sure you are doing a 145.5?
-
those arnt my wipers moving, notice the missing rear view mirror? Thats my windshield moving my wiper blades. The rear view mirror is in my passenger seat, u can see it right before i play late night tip. Thanks!!! and yea, i can care a less what it sounds like out side, if it annoy's people all the more power to it cause u cant hear chit inside the van. Btw, that wasent the whole video! there was still 2 more songs but my friend did something to the upload and it messed up. I will post the whole version when it gets on the site again.

http://www3.telus.net/a54123/0912_094153.mpg THERES MY BABY!! treat her right
-
It sounds amazing, they are a nice woofer. They do me well. You will see, i got a 5 min long video uploading right now Most people have them in sealed box's, but if u heard them you know they pound. CVR's btw
-
Hold, i will post a new link when my file gets fixed, something happend. Heres a video of my van! I went and recorded it at like 8 this morning Some speaker porn for **** ass
-
I can care a pess about parameters, thats only half of the sub. I got a chance to sit in steve meades tahoe the other week If you dont know what it is http://members.sounddomain.com/meade916 And yea.. 151.9 is FREAKIN SO LOUD ON THE NEW TERM. Everybody who says they can do a 150 is absoutly wrong unless they have a score sheet from there contest and is on the new term. But yea, those MT's made my 4 15's look like 1 10 =/ In the other hand, they had INCREDABLE low tone output, i mean INCREDABLE. This is all i ask from a speaker is to have a extremely high out put and play low. The x-max is a kick ass thing to look at tho If you want a vid just hit me up, if u want to see the MT's in action

XXX 18 BL = 10.5 The Pri-15 in SS = 21.4 or something I wish mike were here to clear some things up. Or maybe even give us a go for Sound Splinter 18 INchs in the near future. I still have 1 month to decide if i want 4 SS 15's or 2 RE xxx 18's.
-
you have to live in saskatoon canada, or some where around to pick it up i think. He might of stoped making them so, but i know hes working on a model to put into PRODUCTION, this means you will be able to buy them from a company as soon as he can sell his knowledge.
-
Well, i wanted to know if the sound splinters even compare to the XXX. Im talkin BL and all round out put. If you havent heard a properly powered 18in XXX in a ported box, then i dont think you can help me. Only people who have heard both subs can really comment on what i need to know =/ Btw, FUC* SPL i want a loud ass street bumpin car that can do 146+ on the new term at 30hz. Theres a lot of things i want i will get like i said, only time will tell.
-
That sub is 3k and it weighs like 300 pounds i belive.
-
Do you really wanna know what class it is? Lets put it this way.. that 21 is becoming a 18. This would throw up numbers that would be unreachable right now with 1 18. Let alone 3 inhuman 18's in 1... Power for burping this bad boy? Unlimited as for now
