    Reasons for a bigger box?

There is also more positive things for a bigger box. It will give your woofer much better low end play. THe bigger the box, the most likely the lower it will play depending on port size and tuning. My XXX 18" calls for a 7.5 CF box, but its sitting in a 10.7 CF box 9.8 after displacement. LOW spl is the only thing for me

The box is actually 10.7 cubes, very close to 11, but after port displacement and woofer displacement, it boils down to 9.8 or a bit lower, maybe 9.4. Yea, so i was blasten her today and the box dident budge 1 bit, i might still add bracing tho.

Lol, i will find out tomarrow! Its kinda late and really dark, i doubt it does tho, its put together nice and solid, but if it does flex, im just gonna add small bracing.

    13w7 Question??

Is he using a amp with a bass nob? And are your gains set to work with the Head units volts. High gain + DB nob = death of your woofers.
  11. Mike916

I'm down to my last two choices

I sugguest using a much bigger box than 2 cubic feet if your using 15's. Maybe 4-5 Cubic feet for each woofer is you want them lows. I would go 33hz at a 10.3 cubic foot box.

    New but loud :)

I might be at the one in elk grove, but the thing is with my cone area i will get destroyed when i compete. + that box isnt made right so i get a lot of cancelation. But yea, i would like to go to Lodi, but not with my van. I dont think it will make it to lodi, its been having a lot of problems lately, and i wont be driving it to far till i get it fixed. If u want to chill some time hit me up on AIM or MSN and we can get together. The lower the bass the better
