CDT (Cliff Design Technologies) makes great Components. I don't think you will be disappointed.

True, but his driver is very misleading. The surround in it as wider, and also a high roll, but xmax is very limited by the spider. Another friend of mine was talking it up because it has a bigger surround than the 'shade. So according to the people around here: 15's are louder than 12's Large surrounds are louder than small Wow I guess I don't stand a chance Thats a classic. Rubber surrounds are louder than foam and bigger magnates mean more power.

Xmax doesn't really mean squat on its own but SPL sucks either way.
-
Can we at least get some bridges and end caps?
-
That SOB is Rigid... Talk about a stiffy with all those amps in the backround.
-
How come when I try this with other subs I end up with a different result?
-
Nice... That looks like a fun project
-
Yeah. And how well did those fly off the shelf?

Build the box around 0.7 cuft gross internal and use a 2" Aeroport. This will give you tuning of around 32-33 Hz which will be fine. Just make sure one side of the box is around 14" to allow for the port. The box could be built wide ported out the side. Something like 9"H x 5"D x 26.75"W. Or tube style ported out the front or back. 9.5"H x 9.5"W x 13.5"D. Of course there are other options if you want to build a slotted labyrinth but the Aeroport will keep things simple. These are internal dimensions so you will need to add for the thickness of the wood. I would use 5/8" or 3/4" MDF.

I will stack the 100.4 up against any four channel made. Power, control, clarity, reliability, customer service, warranty, price, etc... It is very tough to beat.
-
That will not happen... If Jacob changed the name which I don't think he will the power difference would be minimal. The 100.2 is pretty much the same as the 125.2 pound for pound. It was way underrated so the name was updated.
-
The current 100.4 is 125x4. =)

Damn amateur's.

I dont have cable in my room tou would be suprised how many dont have that and have bought the converter box there for a wile we couldnt keep them in stock Shhhh.... Amps, not TV's and converter boxes. Subs too.
-
Does anyone not have a cable/satellite box of some sort? DTV will not effect many... Amps definitely trump TV's.
-
And yes the model numbers will come off...
-
Agreed on the model number... I would prefer no model number at all actually...
-
I own 12 and 15 year old amps that are still running like new...
-
You'll have to ask Probox as it is exactly what they told me a couple years ago.
-
Jacob has been hung up a few times in the hi 140's. His secret to breaking 150 is the Probox grill.
-
You must not have heard about Proboxe's grills that add 3 dB.
-
Probox is the best there is. Why buy anything else?
-
Those are pretty much the Power Acoustik Mofo's. They can do some damage but tend to fall apart.
-
Put some money on it... Those SPL subs are some of the worst in existence. They have a couple of amps that are alright but their products sucks. I have been an SPL dealer since they started and refuse to sell anymore of their products. SPL is the same as Power Acoustic.

Cool. When it comes to enclosures everything is based on theory. I have built some crazy chit in my day that never should have worked but turned out great. On the other hand, you can build a box to exact specs with poor results.
