First to reply.... Bout damn time Jacob. That MS DOS built website was killing me.

Someone jump on these. They may be old school but these subs sound great. I have installed about a dozen and everyone of my clients have been very impressed with these subs.
-
Yes. How long are the power/ground wires?
-
Sundown, Best Buy and Walmaert should not be used in the same sentence. I would run 4 gauge and an 80-100 amp fuse.
-
And I have heard the same from a few of my friends who are in the industry.

I receive 10 packages a week on average and many of them are pretty beat up. I have seen dented amps, busted subwoofers, broken MDF and speakers far too often in the past year. I have been in the industry since 1994 in this is the worst it has ever been.
-
UPS has been terrible this year. I have received more damaged goods than ever reguardless of the vender they came from.
-
The Sundown is definately more efficient. Installing a couple crossflow fans wouldn't hurt either.
-
I'll second the Sundown... I highly recommend CDT components.

Diamond audio
P-Dizzle replied to cubdenno's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Nothing wrong. Nothing great. Diamond has taken a plunge over the past few years and a lot of dealers have dropped them. This amp is decent but will not hold a candle to Sundown. -
This topic should be changed to "Loose Wiring Problem, with a 100.4".

You mean they had to ground the RCA's because someone disconnected the RCA's while the HU was on and burned up the ground? Pioneer is famous for this little issue.
-
Grab a 9 volt battery and check the Phase. I am not sure how the wiring was ran but it would be easier to keep the speakers in phase by wiring pairs in series and then run 4 pairs of wire to one point rather than running continuous wiring.
-
I see the problem... Someone is drinking "Diet" Mountain Dew.
-
What is this in? 32 Coaxials.

Let 'er burn. That gives you an excuse to buy something new.

ANL> than circuit breakers imo. Circuit breakers are more accurate but get trip happy. I prefer them both. both in the same install is not only overkill, it's wasted voltage/and or/ current. Let me rephrase that. I prefer either or. Not both at the same time. It is a personal preference and I usually let my customers decide that.

Throw in a 150 Amp circuit breaker.
-
Do the internal fuses blow or just the inline fuse? Do you blow fuses if the RCA's are disconnected?
-
I would blow fuses to if I was stuck with Alpine subs.
-
I have a review for you... Underrated / Underpriced / Overbuilt
-
For starters both channels should be used.

Installed my Sundown amp this weekend... What a piece of crap.

That is what you get for custom building me an amp. -
