No I didn't do it myself I had someone else do it but everything was all my choices and the box too but I couldn't have done it, it is my second install.

The pioneer is pimp load time really isn't that bad because here in Florida I always remote start my car so it's always ready when I get in. Oh yeh and I got the new viper 5701 system its pimp.

I have the same thing do you think that a bass test will still be ok like all the low to high frequencies?

Yeh it only took me since april to put my system together and now everything is getting installed yeh baby. I've got my Saz1500d powering 2 Fi SSD 12's and a sax100.4 powering Focal 165vrs and 130cvx's. I got the jl audio 1/0 wiring kit all powered by a yellow top optima I'm having sound advice do everything including the big 3. And finally my Avic F90BT has come. I will provide pics soon hopefully it's funny I couldn't sleep well last night I was like a little kid on Christmas eve.

I am still waiting on pioneer's avic f90Bt because they have to do a firmware update like 3 or 4 weeks out anyone else dealing with this. I have been waiting for 2 months now, any input on kenwoods DNX 8120 in how it compares Im getting tired of waiting. Should I go with the Kenwood or stick it out for the pioneer?

I have 2 ssd's and a sundown 1500d amp they sound amazing really bump and together the 2 subs cost 388 shipped with copper coils. M5 I know where you're going with this but there are a lot of newbs and you can't answer people like that man don't be an arseho. I learned a lot on this sight thanks to you and others but dang.

Why were you wanting optima just to keep it the same as the battery up front?

are there any grills available that fit the 12 in ssd? Doesn't matter who its made by just has to fit.

I just got 2 ssd's and the total wait time was 2 weeks then I got them. beautiful subs having them installed this week.

I am getting very mixed opinions about this. I have 2 12 inch ssd's going in a 04 escalade running off of a saz 1500d. What should I make a sealed or a ported enclosure. give me the reason why don't just pick one. What is the biggest difference between the two. It is my first real setup, so I don't know. The SSD's can be in either enclosure.

If you want loud, go ported. Musical accuracy, go sealed. I will add that 2 12's will still get loud even if sealed. But the ported will be louder. Thank you for the input anyone else have some info?

Did you hear them in a car or on a sound board? Both one of the installers had them in his car lol. I have a lot of room in my ride for airspace as well IMO they sound better with more space.

the Pro60's vs the new 08 focals not sure what there called but there around 500$ and they are not yellow they have the new technology and are graphite in color?

Well I heard the Focals today and they were amazing the best speakers I've ever heard thus far, so I bought them they ended up being 400 not 500. they are the 165 VR wow they sound even better than the k2's.
