    1000D with (2) SD1-V2's Question

Got It!! Thanks guys I really appreciate it......... Just one last question..........What frequency should I input into the HU when setting the gain? I used 50Hz when setting the 100.2
  2. I am replacing my son's existing 100.2/(2)BA G110's with a new 1000D along with the SD1-V2's. I plan on running 1 ohm load with 200+ watts of overhead from the amp. What measurements and adjustments do I need to make to adjust the gains so that my 16 year old son won't blow that crap out of these new subs? With the 100.2 & the BA G110's, they were a perfect 4 ohm bridged 400 watt match. I was told to adjust the gain for an output of 40 volts rms with the subs disconnected @ 3/4 volume. This setup has performed perfectly. Is there an initial setup voltage that I can shoot for that will limit the 1000D to approx 800 watts into a 1 ohm load? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a Fluke DMM but not an amp clip.
