Is this right? Doesn't seem correct to me with those red errors.

LV4XL10 testing (vid) 154.6db db drag style

That is one beefy 10 -
If you are doing a basic install, I doubt you will see a big difference with the Legatias over the Clarus. I'm running my Clarus actively which made them really come alive. I don't recommend running Legatias with passive xovers.

Good luck, my neighbor recently came to me asking for advice for some hard hitting subs.He wanted 2 12's, but was on a tight budget. So I told him to get 1 Fi BL 12" and I was gonna help him out with a custom ported box. After all was said and done, he told me his friend recommended 2 type r's cause 2 12's is louder and better sound than 1 12. I told him to never ask for advice from me again. unfortunately its your duty to give advise as a member. besides at risk of him having a half ass set up that hurt other peoples listening experience, always give advice he might listen one day. "Friends don't let friend drive with stock systems... or cheap chit for that matter!" He's not really a friend, just a neighbor, I can careless.. He's on his own!

They took your car for a ride, yep a bunch of asses. That's why I do everything myself

I'll second that, I was waiting for something like this with this kind of price tag on it. I'm gonna put it in the optimized sealed enclosure with 400watts running to it at 2 ohms. I can't wait

I really like the beefy look the 10" has. Good choice

Nice job on the install. After all the drivers break in you will be more satisfied. After you get sick of the setup get a 9887 so you can run it actively. You will see a big difference. Tell us what you think after they break in. Good job.

Battery Maintainer??
sick6ness replied to fritosaregood's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Is it a battery tender? If so you should not wire it together.. I would get one for each batt. My 2 cents -
That's a nasty setup

I know that, however I also know they can get loud and have a ton of X-Max. What I was wondering was would the greater X-Max of the W7s ported (tuned for SQ) be louder than the 2 W3v3 13.5s with the bigger size subs sealed? Ok. First off being louder and comparing excursion isn't really related to SQ (least not in the way you are discussing it). SQ is more than just a sub stage, the subs will only cover around .3% of the audible spectrum. So you want something that will sound decent but still be able to get loud when you feel like it, there's nothing wrong with but it is not SQ. +1. Jysoe you want loud subs, stop saying you want SQ. If you want SQ get a decent front stage with some processing. Worry about your subs last.

check the speakers connections, making sure they are tight. Are they amped? are you using your cars stock wiring?

When they are ready for production, we will release specs. And as they stand they should be at home in slightly smaller boxes then what the Icon favors. I would be interested in pre-sale on one of these. Are they going to be offered in 4ohm DVC?
