If you haven't already purchased the 1500D then, If I were in your shoes, I would save a little cash and pick up one of the smaller Sundown mono blocks for a little less cash. A little overhead is never a bad thing as long as your gains are set correctly, but saving money is never bad as well. I would also go with the 3 10's ported. Good luck! Colby

That looks great so far. Nice glassing skills. I hope to see it all come together for you soon.

More pics, plus pics of the box this afternoon, as long as I find the time to get a little done today.

Got my cs50cf set in last Wednesday. They should work well in the rear with the set of cs60cf up front and the 4 Boss rev-665's.

I will find out first hand hopefully tomorrow afternoon. I stared the box late yesterday afternoon while fighting the sunset. I mananged to get all 4 side panels cut out and fully assembled with 1.3/4" steel finishing nails and some Tight Bond 2, then let it set over night. Today I now have the enclosure fully assembled minus a terminal cup and I have some more sanding to do as the enclosure will be left bare for now. Here are some of the high points on my shopping list from Lowes and Sears on Saturday morning. Craftsman professional 6 3/4" saw Craftsman jizzsaw- the nicest before the professional series Extra blades for both the saw and jigsaw Pretty heavy duty Craftsmantool bag. 2 2x4's 1 4x8 sheet of 14 inch plywood 1 4x8 sheet of 3/4 inch 7 ply Birch Tight Bond 2 woodglue And a few other things including a square, another tape measure, 4 Ga ing connectors, 1.75" nails, wood screws ect. Enclosure specs- 3/4" 7 Ply Birch Sub up, port up Double baffled and flush mounted Outside dimentions iirc are as follows, 23" wide x 15.5" deep x 16.5" tall I still have a good bit of sanding to do as this enclosure will he left bare and all corners/edges routed when I go home this weekend. The encloser is surprising light due to the low weight of the birch and Dcon combo. It is drying overnight and we shall have bass hopefully tomorrow. I know I have been slacking on the pictures but I am having camera troubles. I will try to get it figured out soon. Videos when I do! Thanks, Colby 3.05 cubes before all displacements. Tuned to 29 hz Port is 35 sq inches, 30" long, and is 2.5" x 14" Port displaces 1.05 cubes and makes two 90s as it wraps around under the sub and climbs the far side wall.

That pretty much says it all. That and the fact that SSA looks better than alot other forums. Everything is always up to date and the people are the greatest, most knowledgable group of guys and gals on the interwebz. -

No love for the Dcon Mark? A few Boss Rev665s thrown in there. Maybe a little Bravox in the mix as well? I just realized that I have bought almost my entire budget build off of you guys lol. I have the urge to rep the piss out of SSA. Lol. Keep up all the great work SSA! -

X2. Can't start my day off right without a little audio porn. -
I took some pictures of the Dcon last night. It felt so weird carrying a sub that didn't weight 60+ lbs for a change. It is a sexy subwoofer with excellent build quality from why I can tell by looking at it. I have high hopes for this little beast. Pics up later.

I will not be working on the car for the next few days. I am going to be working a Toys for Tots event two afternoons in a row. I will be attacking the car all this weekend. Hopefully I can rig a little sealed enclosure together to see what the Dcon can do. I will try my best to get some pics up if the Dcon and the Bravox as well up this evening as long as things go smoothly.

I didn't really work on the car all that much. I got the Jeep ready for the winter. Put the top and doors back on. I was really suprised when my doors went on without too much trouble. Lol they haven't been on in a while and the Jeeps and been somewhere besides all four wheels touching multiple times since then. I took some pictures. I will try to get them up during lunch.

Lanzar amps?
diablo_331 replied to ShagggDiesel's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You know your AQ2200 is "china chink slap ass special" right? And I'm thinking you are talking directly to me since I am a "chink". Why don't people understand you can get quality from china? Its the companies that don't wanna pay for quality that you should point your finger at not the Chinese build houses. They do what their paid for. I have seen some great quality products come from China. The only problem with the stereotypical Chineese company that imports to the US is this, quality control is a job best handed by the company receiving the product back in the States. QA can very quickly diminish when you keep putting a steady check in the mail and then receiving sub par products that are of lesser quality than the original prototypes were. Thanks, Colby -
My computer was being a little wacky lat night so I couldn't get the pics up.
-
Hold on. Pictures are being taken now of a little goody that my roommate just gave me.
-
Thanks Andrew. I bet that Dcon will get plenty loud but the enclosure will be made for an Xcon, which sounds like a great Christmas gift from the soon too be finance. That and a Saz 1500v2 or an Incrimidator Audio 20.1.

The Dcon and Bravox 5 1/4's are supposed to get here tomorrow. Pics to follow.

These amps are great! I already have one wired up in the car. It puts out power. Lots of it. Cheap 12 volt rated all made right here in the good 'ol USA. I can not believe that there are still some of these left. Thanks, Colby Webre -
