thanks for the replies and yes the amp will be ran in 4 ohm, so i'll just follow the manufactures instructions and use the y-cables i guess -

the reason i brought this up is because i have this old ass alphsonik(us acoustics) amp and the instructions were saying to use a y adapter and run the signal to a mono source..this amp will be powering a dual 12 4 ohm bandpass box -

Im a noob at woodworking and have a couple of questions for those that are experienced with routers. I currently have a porter cable fixed based router i snatched up from a pawn shop for $20. I wanna get a plunge router as well in the near future. Collet size is not an issue because both routers are 1/2 and 1/4 shank interchangeable. What kind/size/length bit do i need to do hole cutouts and also what size bit for roundover's for port edges? Assuming 3/4 mdf is being used. Thanks

i know your're doing 5.1, but to answer your question there's very limited content available in 7.1

dude that's alot going in a mustang, i have a 99 so i know about the space restrictions. you may wanna think about doing a rear seat delete for more space. Powermaster has a 200 amp alt avail http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...+115+4294880691 -

bypassing wiring harness
nickeveready posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
well i got robbed back in july in addition to hu being taken the radio bezel was also ripped out along with harness. so im getting ready to get another hu, possibly the same one (pio deh-p4900ib). i was looking at the wires yesterday and none of the wires looked familiar to me. so my question is how would i go about running the hu off the batt? i know i can ground(black wire) to the - and yellow(batt) wire can be wired to + of battery. how do i wire the red(ignition) wire? somebody chime in and let me know what i need to do safely step by step. this is going in a 99 mustang if that matters. -
try throwin that type s in 1cf sealed box. with sealed you can go prefab and im sure you can get a box off ebay for $40

off topic a bit, but you may wanna think about getting a nice alarm(maybe a 2 way model) before you put all that gear in. if you don't already have on one.
