Why would a business want to make money, thats awful. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you don't get it normal buildhouses won't even look at you unless you are wanting to order 100+ units. you show up at tc's door with 500 bucks in your pocket and you'll walk out with your own "custom" (that just happens to be like everybody elses) uberwoofer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Look at Entasi... they had a run of, what, about 40 TC9's? Which was primarily the same as all other TC9's including old Mag's, SoundSplinter, and a fwe Eclipse? meh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And that's kinda funny considering on their website it specifically states that they are a "high volume manufacturer" and have a minimum order requirement of 500 units. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, it does state that. But I've an email hanging around here somewhere with a sales rep... I emailed them a little more then a month ago re: 'custom' motors. A local proprietor & I were/are looking into have some customs done. TC was willing (at that time) to start out with up to 3 iterations of sample drivers and would require a minimum order of 20 initially and 50 instock (us covering their expenses for keeping our parts on the shelves for supplemental runs). These were 3hp based. just fyi... -Nick

http://photobucket.com/albums/v492/NjccBfl...tang/?start=all $760 + $275 shipping. Arrived this morning. Run's beautifully, Not a single leak (but there is seepage), not a spot of ROT anywhere. Only Two spots of rust. Chassis is effing clean. 199k miles. Suspension is nice & tight. Only things wrong with it: Low oil pressure, Dent on quarter panel, Needs fender straightened, Need a hood (could straighten it though). I have clear front lenses for it from the last one. Good tires. Brakes well. Burns out alright. I thought the timing was off, buuuut No. The cap was wired 1-1, 2-3, 3-2, 4-4. :duh: and adjusted the IAC and she purrs. Only things on the to do list (for the moment): Oil pump, Plugs, fuel filter, adjust drums, battery, install the Big alt., install the wipers, valve cover & front main gaskets. Other things to come... later. Rebuild with the forged low compression TCoupe internals -Nick

so what are you using to compete? the trailblazer? you sold all that equipment, not sure if you have enough left to throw something together <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there's always something laying aronud No, the trailblazer is stripped and demoted to regualr driver. I've got about 3 months to figure out what I'm doing for dBDrag... If i wait too long, I'll just have to do some serious road tripping for 2x & 3x shows. I'm definately NOT doing a trunk install in this car... which means I'm left with streetmax, that's why I'm unsure as yet. Let You know in a few weeks.

LoL... it came with the Hurst.. I'll throw a Pro 5.0 in later on. After I rebuild the motor. Looks like it'll be winter time. The doors are good (one small rust line and manual windows)... but I'll touch base with You later on about the hood. Gracias -Nick
