oh, potent too Couple of turboford.org guys are running nearly 28psi and running LOW 11's with a 150shot. I figure, a 91 stang, walled or half walled, running 13s on a boosted 4banger and getting 18-27 mpg is enough to make a guy giggle.

Pretty much 95% of what I'm planning. With minor tweaks, the laptop tuning, and picking up a new fmic these 2.3T cars can run into the low 13's. Off of a straight swap they run mid 14's. Thats nothing to sneeze at, particularly for the lil 2.3. Anywho, hopefully Kent will come through as SVO>Merkur>TC. If not, the plan stays. I can do the swap for around ~1500 TOTAL and run faster then the same amount and time spent on a 302 swap. More importantly.... this is more unique heh. Forgot about the mech cables, thanks amigo!

As usual, you are right... I was gonna put a bug in your ear about this project anyhow.. hee hee. I dunno how much You know about the boosted 2.3's, but i've learned alot in the past few weeks... guess where I am going with this? hee hee -Nick

are You f'n serious? I might hump You. or give You an amp or something Seriously though, it would be perfect if it was an 87-88 Turbo Coupe with a 5spd. If You could (and dont mind) lemme know if it's running and ~how much...

every motor is different... even in the same exact box. When I dropped one of the SX15"s in the box that the DD99 was in, the imp. topped out around 3.9 ohm when wired to a 0.7 nominal load off of one amplifer. In this same box, 20 minutes earlier, the DD 99 (dual 0.9 coils wired individually) had each coil standing at 7.4ohm. This is where the whole discussion about BL curves, saturation, guassation, and motor itself come into play. <shrug> Every woofer, in every box is different. If You have the same volume box, but it has different dimensions, the imp chart can (but not always will) change. I've seen this myself. As far as bbp6, it doesnt account for Back EMF from the motor, the dampening factor of the amplifier, the changes in port area, among a few other things. I'm sorry... I don't have all the answers. Time for a group study... -Nick
