Thanks! I found a couple but they all require an additional 120V. I want something that is standalone powered by the USB port. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol... then I am of no help. The only mentioned wall socket units.

What the hell is that? You mean a AL3 ECM? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nope, LA3. 88 TCoupe. such as this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Let me check my stash, but I'm pretty sure all I have is GM stuff other than a couple A9Ls out of a couple 5L 5 speeds. IF not, I have the resources to acquire one. Does it have to be this exact model? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pretty much, hence the PITA. LA3 only came in 88 TBird (stick or auto) from what I've seen. No biggie, if You had one collecting dust then I'd throw You the money. If not, I'll keep an eye on eghey and I'm making a visit to the scrap yard this weekend.

    Law of Diminishing Returns

as far as competing: run as much as you can of the largest wire you can find. Literally. I saw a few tenth gain in my trailblazer by going from single 1/ott to single 4/ott power & ground. 0.2dB for wire. as far as daily drivers: I still say that alot of things are overlooked in daily (truely musical) installs. Mainly the fact that the amplifiers WILL NOT be running at full tilt into minimal impedances very often. For Denim: Run more wire, pull all fuses, build up the best damned ground (to frame) possible. Then test the hell outta the amp. If You simply CANT make it any louder, then look for something new. It sucks, but it's common law. LoL

    Need some input.

When it comes to misc install pieces, wiring/installing/body/measurement tools, and the like.... You know I'm in. My craps-man toolbox in the garage has two draws full of of crimp containers, fuses, fuse holders, ca glue, zipties, body clips, etc.

yes... thankfully You guys are being awefully good about this. Still pisses me right the fudge off though. Again, I cannot say how sorry I am for the incompetance of Fedex at both the store & call center branches... I'm sending money order out to You in an hour or so. Netherland will be UPS'ing the wire once he gets it.

    Welcome to the IHoP

So, You go to Fedex/Kinkos to ship two packages. One large one that weighs ~33lbs and one small one that weighs ~18lbs. You figure "I'll use one shipping manifest, it's got two sections on it, they can't really mess this one up.." So, two days later You find out that they did manage to mess this up. A large 33lb box that was destined for TX is going to NM, while a smaller 18lb box is going TX instead of NM. WTF. Call em up, hold a while, chat for 15 minutes with a nice young lady to have the ship to addresses corrected. "...very sorry for the inconvenience and delays..." whatever. Phew, at least they were caught before they were halfway to the wrong destinations. Shouldn't hold things up too much. A few more days, and apparently nothing was done. One small oversight, I could understand. Confusing a 20"x20"x12" 30lb box with a 12"x12"x4" 18lb box is not a small oversight. But, whatever, they can get this sorted out... right? Who ever the fudge is working the counter there tonight is going to have a very bad pucking shift.
