I don't do pretty plans with a cut sheet et al, but I can give You the dimensions and everything that You need To clarify, You want (2) RLp 15"s in 2.5cu ft total? Tuned to 30hz. How much wattage RMS? Post that info and I can run a design through BBP6 for You. -Nick

well... even though every install's different: '02 Trailblazer (stock 150amp alt) I ran Orion 2500D & 8002 off a Pioneer 860MP & 1/ott for about 6months off of the stock (circa 2002) Delco battery. This included a Buffalo winter (lots of headlight, heater, rear defrost). When I swapped in an Optima Blue (for burping mainly, but left it in), the Delco still stood @ 12.3vdc.

as far as the bed... Yeah. LoL. I agree with her though, we needed a new one. Both of us have back problems (her's from a drunk driver - me from being in a few bad brawls), so this one just isnt cutting it anymore. ....and, You know, for being 5'6" and a soaking wet 140lbs she sure can hog a queensize bed. No Tommy, no pics.

honestly... in my truck, sub's are the least of my worries. Prolly 40% of the time I am using it to haul, carry, or pickup stuff. I need the space more then I need the bass. Hence my strong preference for the dedicated mids - I've uninstalled a subbox/amp too many times for sake of using the SUV for what I bought it for. Hell, if I couldn't hide the 4ch amp completely out of the way, I was going to be running the comps & mids straight off of the deck. meh. I rarely get on the bass while commuting. I AM the person that turns the volume down at every redlight. April doesn't even understand me when it comes to that - I presume it's because she see's all these 40-70lb woofers around here and she still assumes I should listen to music the way that I did when I was 18. <shrug> A 15" diam, 11" deep woofer will prolly NOT last in the damn thing. The uber will prolly get pulled this week and resume her spot in the basement till I get going on HT. She WILL NOT be sold unless some very bad fortune comes along.

ended up winning a set of pistons off of ebay... too bad I prolly dont need 'em now. bah, figure that out when they get here at this rate.
-
gah. not enough resources at the moment... I HATE that.
-
LP the rear channels for the subbies. i like the independant filters on the orion... hmmmm
-
would need to makeup a LP filter for mids. then just HP the front channels at the amp....
-
parrellel the front ch's to the mids & the comps... bridge the rear in a woofer... hmmm
-
I wonder if i can figure a way to run off a 4ch.... hmmm.... keep the 8004
-
rip this 4/ott out and step back down to 1/ott
-
find a 5ch amp... keep it hidden nice and out of the way...
-
(2) 8's ported. something where I can still use most of my cargo area for cargo...
-
maybe glass a cargo area box... slimline... right along the drvr side trim panel... something small. 1.0-1.5 ft.
-
use the kodas for 60-200hz in the rear doors.
-
BTW - dont buy from Iceteebone on CA.com... either he's a bad seller or a bad audiophile. both of these have coil scratch. audible through music to boot. but he "never noticed any problems"
-
gonna send these koda 6.5s out for repair/recone. i wonder how long that'll take,
-
need - new 6.5 comps up front. need to get to door panels (trim) though... kind of butchered the ones in there now. that wont be cheap.
