I am running a set of their midwoofers in the Masda 6 Otherwise, sorry
-
now just get the HD flasher.... You'll never have a problem road tripping on the thruway Friend of mine did that in a former cruiser... good times. *cough*very illegal though*cough* -Nick

IMO, if You are going to play bass heavy low frequency stuff once in a while.... but trance & dance more often - go with (3) 12"s sealed. More controlled, "tighter" bass. Particular for fast transitions. Also considering the limited trunkspace You have. That my opinion as a box guy... I have no experience with the SS woofers yet. I have built 3 or 4dozen enclosures though. -Nick

Cone area owns. And Kents right. 30hz is aweful low for in car. Move up to a 36-38hz and squeeze out as much vB as You can. The bigger box will help keep the little but of low end that You normally lose when tuning higher. If You can get 4ft net per driver, 12ish sq in of port / cube, tune around 36hz with the same amplifier, You should notice much more output to the ear. The bigger box will help make better use of Your amp as well. You honeslty don't need louder in a dailydriver - but need & want are two different animals. -Nick <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i heard that smaller boxes will be louder, sacraficing a little low end? no way can i fit 4ft per driver. i might be able to get 3.5ft...but would 2.5ft be louder? also someone else was saying that dd recomends tuning of 40Hz...wouldn't that be pretty high for a daily driver? and there is no way i could fit 2 18's...i'm having trouble getting the 2 15 situated <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Smaller boxes are louder on the Sensor cause you can put more power into them. Larger boxes make the woofers more efficient, lower compliance. Louder to the ear. You're going to run DD? LoL 40hz IMO is a but too high for daily. Highest I would tune any daily setup is 38. I've tried the whole spectrum from 29-46hz tunings with various woofers & boxes.... in the end, IMO anything 40hz or higher leaves NO low end harmonics. 34-38 leaves a nice hump.

$19.95 for a sample pack from fibreglast. Pics when it arrives. Of Course, the epoxy resin is more expensive, $40 for 'resin' & catalyst. I'm thinking that I'll play with CF for trim pieces. But I'm more of the mind to replace trim panels at some point. long term project.
