No. What IS retarded is that this guy probably spent over an hour of his time getting a jig saw cutting out a hole, putting the sub on top of the box to make it look like it might be mounted with screws, letting some wires dangle to make it look wired, lift it, put it in his trunk, clean the saw dust, get his camera take pictures, pause, laugh to himself, take pictures, bring camera to his pc, choose his 100 pics he probably took, upload to his computer, go on ssa make a tread, upload his pics onto the tread and wait impatiently beside his computer for people to write comments to his stupid tread while giggling to himself like a girl waiting in line for an n`sync concert. That my friend, is retarded.

ummmm no. creatine makes you gain weight buddy. it holds water in your muscles and i gain about 5-10 pounds everytime i use it. it`s used by people who weight train to help get one or two extra reps in their sets aka muscular endurance. maybe your creatine had some type of fat burner in it....and god do i hate fat burners.

lol just throwing up ideas here after a long day at work, gimme a break here! . and now that i re-read his post and noticed all 4 of his speakers went...well....ya.
-
maybe the leads touched each other and shorted or somehow too much resistance occured in your leads.
-
you put such a smile on my face when i read that.

Sweet! I hope it`s going to happen on the SSD, because I plan on buying one in the near future.
-
For the amount he is willing to pay, that is.
-
Wtf! Why is the bp option free for the Q series and not SSD!

kicker amps are your best bet for wiring at 2 ohms.

What are the cons of using a capacitor?

pros: it will make you feel better mentally if you are uneducated about how electrical systems work. cons: you waste your money. -
SAZ-1500D ELECTRICAL
philsteroni replied to BoomBoxB's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i ran my saz 1500d in my corolla on a 80 amp alt for the 2 months the system was in my car and my electrical held up great. my battery voltage was starting to dip slowly when cranking the system up near to its max but it was still enough to make my hair sway. by the end of the summer my battery was not able to take the abuse anymore and my whole car electrical would dim totally off and totally on with every beat coming from the sub and the car would almost stall. after i took my system out to bring the car back to stock i performed a battery load test with a load tester machine and also an alternator test. my alternator was running like new even thought the car is more than 10 years old (charging at 14.8 volts) and the battery could only take the load at 5.6 volts!(battery is considered scrap at 9 volts). so basically your alternator should hold for a couple years but expect your battery to go dead in a month or so unless you have a deep cycle battery. -

ummm not yet.. i was but now I AM A get this see how it sounds and if i need to upgrade the rest of my stuff later when i can accumulate some more cash. haha! brings me back to the time when i thought i could get my sub and get away with not upgrading the speakers...all i heard was wicked bass kicking and a tiny distorded wisper of young jeezy in the backround. but yeah everything should sound great unless that dude who is making your box screws up...

personally i would get the bp option and pick myself up a sundown SAE-1200D. If you find the price of a new sundown too pricey, take a look at db-r.com for a refurbished one that will work like new.

The 1/0 gauge is much bigger than actual 1/0 gauge wire (more like 1.5/0 gauge), it's also incredibly flexible if you get the top grade power wire from them. It can literally fold in half against itself and the wire looks real nice too (I got the charcoal color). Most people will recommend that you use welding supply wire, which will probably work just as good if not better, unless you really need the flexability. -
12" Alpine Type R's
philsteroni replied to Dutchie.'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i got both my amps from db-r. both work amazing and his customer service is great. -
haha you don't have to get every single damn strand in the terminal or use 4 gauge wire unless your going to have a 10 foot gap between your amp and sub. if you absolutly want to use the 4 gauge trim some copper strands off the end splice of the wire to make it fit, the electricity will spread to the trimmed copper once it's in the wire. but unless your determined to be more anal than the rest of this forum and myself you dont need the 4 gauge.

i bought 2 amps from db-r: a 1500saz and saz 100.2. they both worked as new the 1500d looked new (not one scratch) the sax 100.2 has a 1 inch scratch where the nobs were but nothing very obvious. his customer service is amazing and he offers a one year warranty. i would highly recommend db-r if your on a budget as i was. -
Possible box idea for my 1996 Lexus Es 300
philsteroni replied to obcaraudio's topic in General Audio
mine is at 31 1/2 and gets plently loud high and low. I would just go to what FI recommends which is 32hz.
