I think 6 cubes will be a little too big with how much power you're going to send them. Maybe shrink it to 5 cubes or so?

1.5@35 worked real well for my 10'' BL. I had 1000w on mine.

Happy birthday Rusty!

Good luck bigjon! Like everyone else has said, be conscious of what you eat, try and substitute water for pop, and do as much walking/exercising you can in the little free time that you have.

Nice test and great scores! I'm so jealous of you guys with SUV's.

Nice work...looks real good!

Not necessarily true. I've had ported setups that were as accurate as sealed ones. It also depends on the music you are listening to. Most music doesn't go below 25hz so take that into consideration. I also don't agree that the 12'' can't go as low as the 15''.

hit up the website for the answer. ficaraudio.com

So how do you like it?

That amp will be fine but you need to get the dual 1 ohm BL's.

Rusty is the man! I just ordered a 10'' lvl 4 xl yesterday. I've sent him multiple messages over the past couple weeks and he's responded to every one of them and shared some knowledge and advice....he wasn't just out to make a sale. His service is on par with Sundown and SSA, that's for sure.

I used a whole roll of raam on my reg cab ranger's floor, doors, and back of cab. I know it's a pain in the butt to take your seats and carpeting out but it will make a huge difference in the amount of road noise you'll hear.

How does it sound?

That's damn impressive. Any pictures of the install?

Let me know if you need an amp for them!

Haha thats what I'm thinking. But I've never used aeros so I will need guidance. They're super easy to work with. http://www.psp-inc.com/ Click the "port length calculator" and type your specs in and you're set. The easiest and most accurate way to cut them is a table saw but I've used a hacksaw before and it still worked fine...just a little more labor intensive. To glue the flanges and couplings to the tube, use abs glue from home depot or wherever. Then you just drill them right into the box.

Haha I had been planning on squeezing one in there for a while. I got it in there by adding those baffles, but it takes up entirely too much room now behind the passenger seat...but it gets LOUD off only 1000w. My sundown 1500d came in yesterday so now it's time to put my h.o. alt and the new amp in!

It might be easier for you to get the volume and tuning you want a little easier if you use a pair of 4'' aeros instead of the traditional slot port.

Here's how modifying my box to fit the nightshade turned out. It's not pretty but it's damn loud off 1000w. I can't wait to put my Sundown 1500 in!

Nice choice. I might have missed it but what amp are you using for the SSD?
